The Raleigh Room is the perfect mix of old world and new, a reimagined social space that nods to the traditions of The Historic Cavalier Hotel. This refined social lounge is your invitation to relax, connect, and celebrate.

Enjoy a coffee in the morning or a traditional afternoon tea reservation on Saturday-Sunday from 1pm-3pm. Meet for proper cocktails in the evening when the salon transforms into the social heart of the hotel with live entertainment nightly. With its classic, yet contemporary decor, The Raleigh Room is the quintessential spot for guests who embrace the good life.

    Afternoon tea at the Raleigh Room was so fun! Jared, our waiter, was kind, patient, funny, and knowledgeable. The ambiance and food added to the experience. Highly recommend!

    The overall temperature in the Raleigh Room was very warm. Our tea service sandwiches and chocolates had been prepared and were sitting out awaiting guest arrivals. As a result, our chocolates and desserts were limp and sandwiches were also victims of sitting out in a warm room. Ironically the tea pour used lukewarm warm water. We had to ask twice for a hot pot of water. Once we got the right temp water, the colors and fragrance of our teas came alive and we enjoyed them!

    My sisters and I took mom to celebrate her 93rd birthday. It was a wonderful experience. I had the gluten free option while everyone else had the regular tea service. It was all delicious. A piano player played relaxing beautiful music the whole time we were there. All of the staff made us feel so welcome. I highly recommend this tea!

    We had such a lovely experience! The tea was good, food was great and filling! And our server, Jared was amazing! We can't wait to go back with our friends! Thank you for a wonderful Mother's Day outing Raleigh Room!

    Jared, the server is exceptional. The loose-leaf tea is delicious. The harp guitarist is talented. The presentation impeccable. The onion is overbearing contained in every savory.
