    Was rather disappointed in the quality. I got their classic sushi set and it was fine, but nothing about it was really good or great. The quality of the fish was just fine, but there was nothing really special or inventive compared to other chefs choice sets I’ve had in this city for a similar price point. The edamame was overcooked and mushy so we barely ate it. Luckily, my guest enjoyed himself so we could focus on our conversation but I wouldn’t host another networking dinner here.

    I have had a good experience at Blue Ribbon before but not this time. Positives are always service and atmosphere. And Yellowtail special was gorgeous, melt in your mouth. But nothing else hit - Eel and cucumber was fishy, sashimi was limp and tasted like takeout from generic sushi place, lobster roll was mushy, shimp tempura roll was not crisp at all. Most of the food felt like it had been sitting around; not crisp and fresh. Super bummed since $300 for three people.

    We had been to the other Blue Ribbon several times and LOVE it. We assumed this one was part of the chain. But the sushi and sashimi didn’t measure up. We were there for a noon weekday lunch and it was nearly empty. I guess that was a clue. Service was fine, but we won’t be returning.

    The food and ambiance was amazing! Definitely recommend going to this place with friends or even a date! Not so loud too it was sooo good! Definitely recommend crispy rice and fries so good!     Went for anniversary, the service was great, and responsive, but the food was really really poor; especially for the price. Especially in this price bracket, their are better places to be.

    We love returning to Blue Ribbon Sushi Izakaya. The sushi is fresh,& many varieties not readily available elsewhere. Unusual and phenomenal items, including delicious oxtail fried rice. Terrific and attentive service. So highly recommend!!

    It was my first visit to this restaurant and I was very satisfied. The restaurant has a very quiet atmosphere. Our waiter David was very kind and professional with me and my husband. David has been one of the best waiters we have ever met, he is very empathetic and cordial. The very friendly hostess placed us at a nice table. The food was delicious with good quality and very fresh. The chefs work fast and with quality.

    Went for lunch on a Friday. Not a lot of patrons but still enough to have made the place very loud — which it was not. Music was low but pleasant. Food was delicious and came out promptly. We ordered the special duck confit fried rice which was to die for. Lovely space, great service, clean toilets, excellent food. I’ll go again.

    Food and service is amazing, but value isn't there. I don't recommend getting the omakase though definitely not worth the $125 pp since we also had to order a bunch of other items.

    Always love coming here, whether I’m feeling swanky or casual, the food and vibes are always on point. My faves are Miso Cod, oxtail fried rice, and crispy tuna appetizer. Also extra buttery are scallop appetizer, and the carrot ginger salad are amazing

    This spot is always stood up. I have been at this place many times, and they keep their standard of the food, and the service. The persons at the counter are always nice, we asked them to charge the cellphone because we forgot our charger. Great customer service mind of the staffs. Definitely be back .
