Our pizzas were burned on the bottom and black while the tops were under-cooked and one was very greasy. The dumpling appetizer was lukewarm. The Domain location is underwhelming. I will only go to the downtown location from now on.

We arrived and were seated right away, server was prompt with drinks right after being seated, food came out quickly and was perfect. Had a few drinks after eating, the entire experience was pleasant. Thanks for a great brunch! Will be back!

We love our True Food Kitchens in DFW. This Austin location wasn't nearly as good. We had a reservation marking it was our Anniversary. They didn't acknowledge the anniversary. The service was incredibly slow despite being there at 10am with the majority of the restaurant empty. Our order wasn't taken until probably 20 minutes in. Our food delivered 40 minutes in. They forgot the appetizer. We saw the kitchen hand the waitress our main dishes and she told them no she needed the appetizer first. They took our food back out of sight and she brought us the appetizer a few mintues later. We told her to please also bring our mains knowing they were already back there. The presentation on all dishes was lacking compared to what we are accustomed to at our regular locations. They flavors were still good.

I had made reservations for the patio since I had my dog with me but was disappointed to learn the fans weren't working. Due to the heat, we weren't willing to sit outside but was happy to hear we'd be seated inside. As my dog was in a stroller, I was slightly concerned the patrons around us would be uncomfortable; however, the tables around us (plus our waitress) was thrilled to have a canine companion around. Our server, Hope, was great esp since it was her 3rd day on the job. I hope the patio fans are operating soon as we're heading into the summer heat.

I’m genuinely disappointed to leave a negative review, as I’ve enjoyed True Food Kitchen at the Domain in the past—but our Mother’s Day experience was truly awful. We waited 40 minutes for our appetizer and then another 40 minutes for our entrees. During that entire time, no one cleared our plates, refilled our water glasses (which were completely empty), or checked in on us. Our one round of drinks remained on the table, and we were never offered another. It seemed like the kitchen was backed up, which can happen—but what made this experience unacceptable was the complete lack of service. Our server never came by. Not once. If the restaurant couldn’t handle the high volume of Mother’s Day reservations, they should have limited bookings. My kids were hungry, thirsty, and ignored. I don’t know if there’s been a change in management, but something has clearly shifted. Based on this recent visit, I would strongly reconsider dining at this location again.

Ruined Mother’s for my wife and my mom. Our food came out 1.5 hours after we ordered. The hot food was cold and the salads had been sitting for an hour at least. We sent back both salads and left without eating anything. Every other table was experiencing similar disasters. Diners were warning people in line to go somewhere else. The wait staff was lovely but what can you do without food at a restaurant?
