Great food, lovely staff! Ordered the gorogonzula brûlée with crostini (amazing bread). Their foccacja and Mediterranean sauce was amazing and tiramisu was definitely worth the hype!

I always look forward to eating at Cesarina and I’m never disappointed after! Especially with all the extra food that I have for leftovers! I always feel welcome by everyone there

Best gnocchi ever and tiramisu is the best I’ve had!!! Pasta is fresh, the gnocchi with the fungi sauce is delicious which my wife had and I got the bolognese with spaghetti which is also amazing. Very flavorful and good portion. They make your birthday special with a Polaroid picture. This is my wife’s favorite spot and it doesn’t disappoint.

We had an excellent meal for our first time at Cesarina. Coming from the east coast we are always trying to find good Italian out here which is not easy but we thought the food here was excellent. Good service, wasn’t uncomfortably expensive, nice experience.

I was visiting from LA, and so happy we went out of the general downtown SD area to find this gem. Ambiance and decor is a 9. Parking is a 2. The food was awesome. We ordered the funghi vegana, the stuffed eggplant appetizer, and the caprese. The caprese was so fresh, while the eggplant was OMG melt in your mouth. We aren’t vegan but ordered the funghi vegana and added the shaved truffle because their tartufona seemed way too creamy. I wish the funghi vegana had just a touch of truffle oil to round out the dish for when you order the shaved truffles to top. The pasta noodles were so silky and perfect. And great wine by the glass/bottle selection as well.
