    We always look forward to our special night out at Boca, but this time was disappointed in service. Our waiter was just not good. Everyone around him was, but he was a dud. No personality, I don’t think he smiled once, overall very awkward. I didn’t pick the right wine and when I told him I didn’t like it, he just stared at me and said “ok”. So my husband said, do you have recommendations? Or a sommelier? He knew nothing and had to go find someone to give me a recommendation. Turned out that person was the waiter at the table next to us - who I noticed was excellent and very helpful. Then as we were in betweeen courses he cleared our silverware but never gave us knives. When next course came we had no knives. Since he never returned to table to check on us throughout the evening I had to flag someone else down and ask for cutlery. Also, he forgot to ring in our oysters so we got that near the end of the meal after we asked him for it (and yes, he still charged us for it). It was our anniversary and he never said one thing to us about the special occasion. I have been to many 5 star restaurants and this was by far the worst FOH/waiter experience I’ve had. He was just not good. Boca should be embarrassed.

    Food was tasty. Service improved after a slow start. Would have hoped for better ambiance and a more special feel to the experience for the money. Food seemed like it was just being churned out assembly line style.

    Wife and I had beef Wellington. Very average for the price of $165 for two people. Meat was just not very tasty Charge for bread and cappuccino outrageous. Service great and ambience terrific. Chocolate cake delicious. To summon it up, I would rate the restaurant a “B” when I thoroughly would expect it to be an “A” every time.

    The food, service and experience were great! One of the only restaurants these days that sets the table properly and pays such close attention to detail. Pommes soufflé and Beef Wellington were my favorite. It was a great splurge for our anniversary.

    My recent dinner at Boca in Cincinnati was truly outstanding. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they prioritize creating a special dining atmosphere. The food was a definite highlight. Every dish was beautifully presented, and the flavors were absolutely incredible. You can truly taste the thought and passion the chefs put into their creations, using high-quality ingredients that shine through. The menu offers a refined selection with delicious options. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Our server was excellent, anticipating our needs, offering great recommendations, and ensuring our meal flowed perfectly. Their professionalism and warm demeanor really enhanced the evening. For anyone looking for a memorable night out in Cincinnati, Boca is a must-try. If you appreciate fantastic food paired with top-notch service, this place is it. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
