    This restaurant delivers on slightly upscale American cuisine. We all enjoyed our dishes. The service however was incredibly slow and considered how few people were there, maybe even negligent. It was fine for dinner with an out of town friend but far from a place that stands. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone or go again. In the loop, you can do much better than this.

    Roanoke is a staple in the loop. Met some colleagues that I haven’t seen in years for lunch. The food was excellent, service was fantastic, just as I remembered it !

    Food was very good and so was the service. Interesting menu with good diverse choices. But $35 for a martini is ridiculous- it’s not the Ritz Charlton! Value not great

    I realize Roanoke is popular & busy, tho wish something could be done about tempering the noise level in the back room. Even lowering the stereo would help. When crowded, there is something about the heightened guests' conversation levels bouncing off the ceiling that rapidly wears me out. Otherwise, excellent in all ways.
