Elizabeth Street Café is a neighborhood Vietnamese cafe and French bakery in South Austin opened in December 2011. The little restaurant boasts sunny dining rooms and a shady garden patio and serves fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as takeout.

Came here to celebrate my 5 year wedding anniversary with my husband and we had the most delicious meal. The service was excellent. Our server greeted us with a handwritten card to celebrate our anniversary, along with a complimentary champagne toast. However, my husband and I don't drink alcohol. So instead of the champagne toast, they gave us dessert to celebrate. So thoughtful! We started with the Green Mango & Cucumber Salad. It was incredibly refreshing and addictive! I had the Marinated Flank Steak Bahn Mi sandwich. It was mouthwateringly delicious, and the bread was so soft and lovely. My husband had the Elizabeth Street Fried Rice with the crispy redfish for his protein. He really enjoyed it! We finished off with the Beignets. These were to die for! The raspberry lychee jam was my favorite of the two jams provided, but they were both delicious! I forgot to take photos of the fried rice and the mango cucumber salad, but they were both beautifully plated!

Excellent food ad wait staff !!! Love the chicken Lapp and the bun with lime fried chicken ; plus they make the freshest shrub drinks

Delicious, fresh and good quality food. Portions size are incredibly generous and every dish we ordered was really flavourful. The setting was gorgeous and the staff really welcoming. I would say the AC was set a little too cold for my liking but that’s just preference.

They are just the best. They were so kind to accommodate our reservation change not once, but TWICE. The staff wished my graduate congratulations, and the food was as outstanding as always.

I had their shrimp and pork crepe and I dream about coming back to having it again soon. Their cocktails are delicious as well!
