An homage to the San Jacinto Inn, La Lucha offers a unique and indulgent menu complete with the freshest Gulf Coast-only oysters, shrimp, crab, warm biscuits and satisfying fried chicken dinners.     The food was excellent. We ordered a variety of items and all were impressive. The valet parking was definitely a plus and we were immediately seated upon entering. I was not prepared for the sheer volume of the entire restaurant. My granddaughter and I loved the excitement and loud celebratory mood of the whole afternoon. My two guests who are usually fun 75plus were put off by the very loud crowd. I’m not sure any of us liked the haphazard plating and get as you go service. We are planning a family birthday party there soon which will seal the deal. My grandson ate Five biscuits with the delicious jam the next day and proclaimed they were the best he’d had! It’s a sin that there was no cobbler of any kind on the menu. This needs to be put right.

    Always a great experience! If you love oysters, this is a must try. The redfish was absolutely delicious and the house frozen margarita is was real treat-if you like mezcal!

    I saw this place on Tik Tok and decided to visit. The menu is super limited and the oysters were small and tasted okay, I have had better. The service was great! The menu had fancy names for simple meals.

    The shrimp tacos are amazing! The fried chicken is worth the wait. The servers are always so friends and attentive. The bar is a great spot if you get there early! Don’t forget to try the biscuits they are to die for with the jam. Best to valet (only tip) as parking is limited. Great happy hour oysters!

    The food was great and so was the service. We had fried chicken, raw oysters, red fish, biscuits, fries . Highly recommend this place.

    The chicken I ordered was burnt and bland, the dumplings were very salty, the waiter took food items off the table without our permission then tried to charge us to replace it. The red fish and biscuits and jam was amazing tho , overall I didn’t have a good father’s day experience there!
