We first dined at Firebirds in Dania Beach several years ago and found it to be exceptional and have returned to that location every time we are in Florida which is 3-4 times per year. Didn't realize there was an Ohio location until earlier this year. Took my friend to Cleveland(Orange/Beachwood), Ohio location yesterday for his 60th birthday dinner celebration. He always orders the Tomahawk Chop in Dania Beach. Ordered same item at Cleveland location and was shocked to see it to be same price, but half the portion size as what we had in Feb. 2025 @ Dania Beach, FL location. Waitress was rather new and didn't seem to know the Summer Specials when we inquired or the $19.95 rib special that was ending on 07-07-2025 until we asked. We were first told no specials available and then I pulled the website up showing the specials. Don't know if it was her or the kitchen staff who messed up the orders regarding tomatoes. Just generally disappointed in the portion sizes compared to what we have always experienced at Dania Beach, FL location over the past several years. Not sure that we will make the 45 minute drive from our home to the Cleveland/Orange/Beachwood location again.

The bread is very good, the salads were large and full of good items. But the drinks were a rip off. The pineapple martini was watery and I believe $13. But the food and service was very good.

We were disappointed with our experience. Our filets were both overdone. Service was slow and infrequent, and the hostess gave my wife a hard time on seating choice. It was not their usual quality experience at all.

Our experience was dreadful! We had a reservation for 4 at 4:09 on Father’s Day, I asked if we could sit on the patio and I was told no they were saving the patio for large parties.. The first waiter we had disappeared after taking our drink order after approximately 45 minutes I saw him and called him over, he claimed the bar was backed up which had nothing to do with the root beer my dad ordered. When that finally arrived it was in a to go cup for a kid!!!!When the cocktails finally arrived they were watered down. Additionally we didn’t receive food for over an hour and a half! When it arrived my dad’s salmon looked so small the waitress that had taken over our table was surprised that it was for an adult. My husband’s and my steak was cold and my husband’s baked potato was hard! The manager was dismissive and could care less about our issues! As a frequent diner I will never return! Sad

Father's day, so quite busy, but we didn't mind. My grandson's Kid's steak was kinda chewy, otherwise things were nice.

went on Father's Day and i think they were understaffed. while our server was nice, everything was extremely slow. our food arrived to our table warm although it tasted fine. the restaurant didn't seem overly crowded so not sure what the issue was that day. i'd give it another try before not suggesting it.
