   Very friendly and pleasant local atmosphere. Just hip enough! Excellent service - no pressure to leave after we had finished eating. Sunday brunch menu was adequate and well prepared without being overly experimental. Out of town guest from San Francisco thought it was terrific - praise indeed!

   Patois never let’s me down. Food is beautiful and delicious. Service is spot on. Could not ask for a better spot for a fabulous meal. Definitely a local gem.

   We brought our Austin friends - they agreed that it’s a gem - off the beaten path- neighborhood jewel. With the smoke pit outside on the street, a cool bar (and your pooch is welcome if you’re dining on the sidewalk), the waitstaff is knowledgeable and helpful. From the rabbit pate (!) to the divine mussels, to the perfect pork chop and the fresh sheepshead fish special, we ate like kings!!! The desserts sounded divine, but we had no room! Good wine list & cocktails, of course. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in a city know for fine cuisine! Keep it up, please, Patois!

   Really lovely focused menu with fresh, in-season offerings. I was delighted to find speckled trout as the featured fish of the day and enjoyed it very much. The gnocchi, a fresh green salad with pumpkin seeds and goat cheese, plus a nice little chocolate torte really made for a very good birthday dinner. thank you!

   The food and service was fabulous! The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars for the food, is because the gumbo wasn't so good. There were 6 of us and everyone took a bite and felt the same..the roux was too thick/dark, was heavy tasting, and didn't have a good flavor. Other than that...all other items ordered were extremely delicious !

   Don't know that we really needed a reservation, but the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. Amazing options for such a small place.

   A 15 minutes drive from downtown NOLA located in a nice neighborhood. Well Worth the drive and a very quaint place. Menu had a lot of variety and the food was very good. Would definitely go back.

    4 of us went for New Year's Eve. It was a perfect choice The food and service were excellent. We had a great evening.
