                                        We were not seated in the area I had requested and it wasn’t even acknowledged. They were out of one of the appetizers we ordered and took a lot of time to let us know. Generally the food took too long. And my favorite pasta doesn’t taste like it used to.

                                        Exceptional experience for fine Italian dining in Chicago! We appreciated the bottled wine service, although it did take a while… the table side Prosciutto was devine! Rosemary & Sea Salt Focaccia was delicious, as was the imported Burrata. Our party shared the Italian Salad, and while the reataurant was attentive to our allergy guest, an allergy menu would have been appreciated, especially when given ample notification on our reservation. Overall, a great dining experience. We really loved the food—everything was super tasty and well done. That said, the vibe felt a little too energetic for a Sunday night. It wasn’t packed, but the whole dinner just took longer than we expected for a 5:30 reservation. (Three hours+) Drinks took a while to come out (bar was barely full at 6pm, as was restaurant) and there was a large gap of time between the apps/salads and the main course. Same thing happened when we ordered coffee and affogato—just a lot of waiting. We’d definitely come back for the food, but hopefully things move a bit quicker next time, especially for an early dinner. This was a birthday celebration and RPM did an amazing job recognizing the birthday girl with personalized menus and a delicious gelato celebration for all guests, complete with candle. Valet parking is available and they were amazing! Overall, a great dining experience. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed ourselves, but there were a few hiccups that took away from the night a bit. We ordered: Maine Lobster Ravioli – tasty, but not presented as described on the restaurant’s own menu. Mafaldine Cacio e Pepe. Spaghetti & Meatball. Lemon Burrata Cappelletti – thoroughly enjoyed this one! Rigatoni alla Vodka- De Paul student said it was best pasta he ever had, including in Rome! Carbonara – this was for the birthday girl, and unfortunately, it was brought out only after we let the staff know she hadn’t received her meal, even though everyone else had theirs.

                                        RPM was a great experience for celebrating a special occasion. The table service for all aspects of the meal is impressive. The food was a culinary delight. Must try!

                                        We really enjoyed our meal and service. Our favorite appetizer was the wagyu beef tartare, it was prepared table side. We tried swordfish and various pastas for our main courses and they were delicious. Deserts were out of this world - we tried affogato, bambaloni and tiramisu. Our server was very attentive and made great wine and food recommendations.

                                        We had the Spicy Dungeness Crab with squid ink pasta and it was fantastic. The Maine Lobster Ravioli sauce was indistinguishable and unremarkable, the ravioli pasta was too thick. The truffle garlic bread was tasty and nicely toasted. The Crystal Paloma was delicious, the Spritz and Giggles was wonderful and light. Our server Adrian was attentive and friendly, he really made the experience better. Birthday dessert isn’t inclusive if you are lactose intolerant.

                                        It was truly a great dining experience. The food and wine were impeccable, the service was attentive and genuine, and even on what seemed to be a very busy Saturday night, everything was brought out at exactly the right time. One of the staff, Brendan, even helped arrange a special desert for my girlfriend and I on moment’s notice and delivered to perfection. From management to the bus boys, the service was truly outstanding. 10/10 would absolutely go back
