                      Hire an acoustic engineer or consultant. Some sound absorbing panels would do wonders in that space. Also air conditioning was turned down to about 10 deg as we finished our main course. That wasn’t necessary.

                      Beautiful entrance, lift to take you up to the lobby,where you will find a warm welcome. Given lovely table by the large windows to look out on. Service from than on was great, very attentive, food and wine ordered which was all of high standard, it was my husbands birthday and he was bought out a little pastry cake with a candle, a lovely touch. Everything was very clean. The only downside was someone at another table had the sun in their face so the curtains were closed, we were told 'can't please everyone' as we didn't want them closed as this blocked out our view and we were sitting at the window!! We would go back as it was very lovely

                      I arrived with luggage from my flight in, and the host was able to store it away rather than me carrying it around.I was shown the pass which displayed a 42-day-aged roast and a gorgeous beef Wellington, then proceeded to a nice table facing a pub next door. I sat down and was shown the wine list and ordered a glass of Sancerre from their Coravin list to pair with my starter course, the scallops, which were cooked perfectly. After that was cleared, I got my beef Wellington, which fell apart while I was slicing it, which was a disappointment, but the dish flavour was amazing, especially the truffle mash. After that, the dessert menu was too polished for me, so I got an espresso martini, which was a great way to end dinner two notes for improvement: I didn’t have a server check if my food was okay, only when I finished, and I had fragments of cork in my wine, which was quickly fixed but should have been checked after pouring from Coravin at station,

                      We were celebrating a birthday and the whole experience didn't disappoint. Meat was cooked exactly as we had asked. Our server was polite friendly and did his best to make sure we enjoyed our Sunday lunch. We have been to roast in the past and the standard never falls.. would happily recommend.

                      Lovely atmosphere and was really looking forward to going there. The staff were lovely and attentive, despite it being quite busy. Food was plentiful but I did find the amount and quality of some of the meal disappointing: would have appreciated an extra slice of beef and the gravy was too watery and wasn't enough to cover the whole dish. This was mitigated by the plentiful cauliflower cheese (which was delicious). The main star was the sticky toffee pudding which was amazing! The amount of wine was pitiful also. It was good and I'm glad that I went, but I won't be rushing back

                      Emma your recommendation was amazing. Thank you for joining me for lovely food and a great server Giulio. Made our experience fun and memorable. Within chaos of borough market we were in a little tranquil haven 😁😁😁

                      A very pleasant meal at one of our favourite restaurants. However on this particular occasion both service and ambiance were below its usual high standards. Food quality overall was very good as usual with the exception of the bread which had been overbaked as the crusts were utterly inedible. To the restaurants credit the charge for the bread was waived following our complaint. Our starter and main course were both however excellent, particulalry the main where the beef wellington was outstanding. We did not have room for a dessert! Unfortunately the service was quite poor. The greeting on our arrival lacked any real warmth. Our waiter although polite was not over friendly and could not really understand some of our requirements and questions that we posed regarding the menu. Ambiance was very quiet. The restuarant was quite empty which I found suprising for a Friday. The biggest disappointment was the fact that I had flagged up that it was our 33rd wedding anniversary on our booking via Open Table which I had made at least a fortnight in advance. There was no acknowledgement whatsover at any point of this during the entire evening. Most disappointing. Hopefully this is a one off and on our next visit we will have a better overall experience.
