It’s been that way since Drago & Klara Cvitanovich opened our restaurant in 1969. They set out to offer delicious seafood and a good time to guests for a reasonable price. At that time, they couldn’t even imagine how many guests that would become.

Today it’s still a family atmosphere. Klara is still at the front to greet our guests. Tommy Cvitanovich, Drago and Klara’s son, is there to see that things run smoothly.

Thank you for choosing Drago’s Seafood Restaurant at Hilton New Orleans Riverside for your dining experience. We don’t accept reservation, however, walk-ins are always welcome to join us. Hope to see you soon!

I've always said you can't find a bad meal in New Orleans. Well, Drago's at the Riverside Hilton proved me wrong. The lobster was overcooked and tasted like it had been frozen and rubbery texture. The crawfish etouffee was watery and over spiced to the point of being the only favor. Worst meal I've ever had in my years of visiting NOLA.

Everything was just OK. The hostess, the service, the food all just OK. I usually get better everything at Chili’s, Outback, Olive Garden…. Ah, and they are now cashless.

We love their chargrilled oysters and they have a super yummy cheesecake. You won’t be disappointed.

Great food and service! We were a party of 10 and there wasn't any one person disappointed. The charbroiled oysters and Fleur De Lis Shrimp were amazing. I had the twin steak filets topped with crabmeat and everything was perfectly cooked. They did run out of Lobster, but it was a Monday and a large convention was going on so somewhat understandable. The menu was large and diverse enough to select many other options. Again, great spot for dinner and we'll be back.

The food was excellent. We had charbroiled oysters, shrimp and grits, lobster and crayfish. Everything was prepared to perfection. The service was quick and efficient.

Our experience at Drago’s was great. Our waitress, Colby, was knowledgeable and kind. She made great suggestions on food and drinks. I will definitely go back!

The casual ketchups/condiments in middle of table took away from the class it could potentially have. The oysters were gritty.
