   Wonderful service, seated immediately. Accommodated our family with a toddler and infant. Food as always was excellent and good value.

   I understand it was a busy weekend. But it took 45 minutes to get drinks and one of our drinks never arrived. It took an hour and 15 minutes for food to arrive. I had to ask for bread which is part of their standard service. We would have loved to have dessert but it was never offered and we were tired of waiting. It took another 20 minutes for the check to arrive. Are waiter seemed overwhelmed although doing the best he could. There just did not seem to be enough help and there did not seem to be any managers helping with the tables. Disappointing

   Well, first of all, my party got confused about the reservation time. It was for four at 1:30p. They heard 4:00 and that's it. No problem. The host was great and held me another table while I went shopping to kill the time. My guests showed up at 4:00 with another friend. So, now we're five. Again, no problem, we were seated at a lovely table. Angela was our server and just like the wonderful host, she was fantastic. Very patient with us. A crazy table. Three of us had the scampi, which I always get. The huge shrimp are always perfectly prepared. Grilled, but still very tender. But, the real treat are the mashed potatoes. Really creamy and buttery with fried capers. So, delicious! Of course the venue is beautiful. I love to watch the bay and the feral kitties who live nearby. Yep, I keep coming back.

   A perfect place for brunch! Get there when they open and it’s great. After noon it becomes busy. Great service, fantastic views and pricing that matches any good restaurant

   Very nice restaurant the waiters were very nice and 10 of the food was excellent. The acoustics were wonderful all in all the very good time.

   The calamari appetizer ($18)was very dried out. The only edible part being the artichoke. The shrimp scampi ($24)was also dry. 6 dry tasteless small pieces of shrimp with no sauce, stuck into garlic mashed potatoes with 4 small asparagus spears. The best part was the mashed potatoes. Sad. Ambiance and service were excellent.

   Horatio’s has gone downhill recently. Our drinks took a long time to be delivered. The oysters,@$23 , were petite. Not worth the price. The prime rib, ordered med rare, came medium. The cuts were un even and thus cooked unevenly. The wine was good. But did not come out in a timely manner. The most annoying thing of the evening was that the music was so loud that it was impossible to have a conversation. After requesting that they turn the “music “ down, twice. They finally turned it down to a somewhat reasonable level. We probably won’t go back.

    Waited for a table even with a reservation. Then had to flag down a waiter for service. Food mediocre. Portions small. Every once in a while I give this place another try. Continues to disappoint. I never learn.
