The food was wonderful. We really enjoyed the surf and turf appetizer, the tagliatelle with lobster and truffle encrusted tuna. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The outdoor setting was perfect for the weather. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

The food at Mare is always incredible. Their oysters and crab cocktail is always a good go to starter. I always get the lobster ravioli as my main dish.

Lovely venue. Clean, classic, modern with views into the kitchen and beautiful summer plantings outside. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive with knowledge of the menu which we appreciated. The mushroom pasta was the best selection of the night.

We sat on the terrace which was delightful. The food was excellent, not a clunker in the bunch. Can be a bit pricey, but worth it. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. Only issue was the music speaker above our table blaring EDM, which is fine but made conversation hard to hear given our aging ears. Otherwise, wonderful evening.

Traveling to Boston, I decided to have dinner at Mare due to the extensive menu and close walking proximity to the Hilton Canopy hotel. The outside patio had fireplaces, heat lamps, and was very pleasant to enjoy a meal as a solo patron. My server, Juan, was from Columbia and attentive throughout most of the meal. Fresh-warm bread with pesto, olive oil, and olives was brought to my table right away I ordered the lobster bisque which was superb, a delicious pina colada that Juan made, Tagliatelle con Aragosta, and chocolate mousse for dessert that was divine. My only issue with the entire meal was the main course -- Tagliatelle con Aragosta. My first bite of the fresh lobster placed on top was cold and the fettuccine was rubbery. I don't know if the entree sat awhile prior to serving me? I informed my server at the end of my meal that he may want to inform the chef and gave him a generous tip anyways. I would return again on a future trip to Boston.
