The Ninth es el último proyecto del chef Jun Tanaka, radicado en Londres. El restaurante de 90 plazas, moderno pero acogedor, está situado en el corazón de la bulliciosa zona de Fitzrovia de Londres y ofrece sencillos pero refinados platillos franceses de estilo mediterráneo para compartir.     Experience a culinary journey with our Chef’s Choice Menu, featuring a selection of six dishes - Crab and Seaweed Tartlets, Cured Scallops, Truffle Spaghetti & Parmesan, Chargrilled Turbot and Vin Jaune Sauce, Iberico Pork Pluma and our famous Pain Perdu. A vegetarian tasting menu is also available. Please note that all of our dishes are made to be shared. Your table will be booked for 2.5 hours for parties of up to 2; 2 hours 45 minutes for parties of up to 4.

    We found the service of the beverages to be particularly slow - the wine order was forgotten and I had to chase the waiters for these. The food was average. Wouldn't rush to return, which is a shame as we have been a few times previously.

    Had the most fabulous evening food was wonderful. I loved the mix of the collaboration between Japanese and Italian and it was so tasty. My pork was the most tender I’ve ever had pork and Service was fantastic as well thank you. Will definitely be back.

    Excellent food, 10/10. However, the service was +/-, no table dress, new cutlery was put on wet and unclean table, only filtered (sparkling) water available (and it was not cold). Wine temperature was not appropriate (warm for white).

    We felt very welcomed, staff were very friendly, but my friend and I didn't feel rushed as we had a good catch up and talk. We had lunch at 1300 on a Saturday. It started fairly quiet but by the time we left about 1500 it had got quite busy and loud, not unpleasantly so but noticeable. Set menu represents excellent value. The sea bream carpaccio starter with orange and fennel and pain perdu dessert were particular standouts.

    One of the best value set lunches in London enhanced by delightful service. Good if a little expensive wine list. We enjoyed a white Cotes du Rhône.A standout was the spring spaghetti - I recently returned from Italy and the spaghetti for spring here was the best. Jan Tanaka is a very talented chef as well as a great guy.

    Visited this restaurant for lunch menu for the first time and it didnt disappoint. Lovely ambient, layed back atmosphere, definitely unpretencious. Great value for money deal with 3 delicious course. Heritage tomatos were fragrant and balanced, seabass was perfectly done and the portion was substantial as you get the whole fish butterflied. Desert was spot on - elegant and simple pain perdu. Overall great lunch in Charlotte street, definitely coming back soon …
