The churrasco (Brazilian barbecue) is a traditional feast that has been celebrated in Brazil for centuries. It is a unique and healthy way of roasting meat over a mesquite flame that preserves tenderness and gives it an unmatched taste.

Waitstaff was phenomenal. Very attentive, professional and polite. Ambiance was nice...they have an outside dining area with fire tables that's a nice touch. Due to COVID the "experience" isn't quite the same (having the meat cut from the skewer at the table) and you now have to wait for the staff to bring you your meat and salad bar selections. This would have been a five star review if it weren't for the meat, which is supposed to be the star of the show. We tried about 8-10 different selections and 80% of them were all way too salty or very over cooked. Just not the quality or flavor I remember.
Was an interesting evening as the restaurant is trying very hard to meet diner's expectations in a COVID environment.
Which brings me to a single concern. Because staff had to bring side dishes to the table, as opposed to a salad bar, they had to make many trips. Could have saved them some steps by bringing large portions.
The service was exceptional. The food great.
It was our first time venturing out for dinner since April 2020. It was definitely a great experience. We had no expectations besides going to a restaurant we both like. It was actually nice to not have to get up and and get our own sides. More of a fancy experience I believe. I loved that they were attentive with our request even though they were visibly busy. They actually remembered my husband, I almost bet him they wouldn’t remember him.

Excellent service, nice place and good food, but very expensive $180 for 2 and just 1 cup of wine and 1 mojito. for covid they minimized the menu. Probably they have to minimize the prices too.

Went there for the first time to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I put it under special occasion when I made the reservation online but they must have missed the memo. Never mentioned once. The table next to us got the birthday song though. Overall the service was great. The food was good but I don’t think it was worth the price. I was paying for the experience and it was just another restaurant, nothing special. I wish I had picked a different place.
Anything from the menu won't disappoint you. As for drinks, try the Brazilian Bikini.

I have been to several Brazilian steak houses, this one was my least favorite and won't be returning.
When I was served my crab and lobster, I was not given shell crackers nor a small fork to pick the meat from the shells.
The king crab was served cold, on ice at the station.
I asked for med rare filet and 30 minutes later was served med well meat. My wife asked for medium and she received med rare. Our brussell sprouts came warm and raw, they said they would replace them, they did after we were through eating, still raw.
At $58.00 per plate I expected better.

Restaurant cancelled my reservation before I got there, without me knowing about it so I showed up thinking I had reservation when I didn’t.

The food/meats were good I know with whats going on in the world I wish the waiters could of explained the menu alot better. I was hoping to eat a good amount of portions for the price I paid!
Secondly my girlfriend and I went to tacos el gordo where there was actually hand sanitizer and someone checking temperatures we would've expected this from a high-end pricey restaurant.

it Was Not The Same Feeling Going Here During This Time Of Pandemic. Food Was Ok Little Off and Salty.Did Not Like Having To Order The Food and Have To Wait For It To Come. Miss the Old Style Where You Go To The Salade Bar and Seafood Bar get Anything You Want and Have Them Come By Your Table To Let You Choose Your Meats and Cuts.

Food here is always good. The menu was changed and there are less options in the salad bar., it's nice that they bring you everything. Tables are not separated correctly. We were a party of 3 seated very closely to a table of 6 and a table 9. Not a good experience

We had a good experience here, our first at Rei do Gado after many trips to other Brazilian steakhouses. The food and service were both excellent. The main drawbacks were related to the COVID protocols. It just wasn’t the same without the gauchos coming to the table. Instead severs asked for meat and salad bar selections and brought them to the table. Only a few tables were occupied and the servers were very attentive. I credit the restaurant for doing the best it can during this time.

An authentic churrascaria with good quality of meat and seafood.
My husband and I come here for date night on occasion and have always loved it. With all the changes in the industry they had to make changes as well. Instead of getting your own sides they have you fill out a sheet of paper and go get them for you. We waited almost 45 min for the sides to arrive after we sat down. We ended up starting the meat service because it was taking so long. They were somewhat busy but that’s still too long of a wait even considering. We will come back and hope things improve.
Way too warm, lots of flies, they landed on the food and in our drinks, food was ok, it took a long time to get our check. Was very disappointed to say the least. Especially for what we paid.
Food was amazing but the place was really crowded and the service was slower than normal.

Well I guess it’s not necessarily the restaurants fault but because of Covid we were outside on the curb and people were literally just walking behind us with nothing to separate us and them and bums just walking all around us it was a very weird experience. The atmosphere was not what I was expecting and I lost my appetite.. probably will not do this again until the pandemic is over with and everything goes back to normal.

Customer service is great even being outside everyone was accommodating and worked hard to make our night special it was family time for us so we had a great time. The food was great and prepared just right.
