Cafe Brio
Price: Expensive•Italian•4.8(351)The Café Brio, located in Victoria, has been a local favorite for twenty six years, serving up a rustic, Italian inspired menu. Focusing on regional products, Café Brio led by multi awarded Chef Sam Harris selects the highest quality ingredients from local sources to be used in authentic, creative dishes.
At Café Brio, everything is prepared in house. Pasta favorites include gnocchi with roasted leeks, parmesan cream and basil purée, Spaghettini with tomato, garlic, basil, olive oil and parmigiano and also our wild mushroom risotto. From the Sea enjoy seared scallops with peroxides, delicata squash, carmelo and bacon anchovy vinaigrette or our local fish feature. Lastly the Parry Bay Lamb feature from our friends out in Metchosin is an absolute must.
The wine list is extensive with input from multiple Sommeliers on staff always excited to share their new favourite bottle in our unique and cozy dining room.Table Nineteen Victoria
Price: Moderate•Canadian•4.8(559)Table Nineteen Victoria is located at Olympic View Golf Club, and is open after extensive renovations to offer a premier culinary experience in a stunning setting. The cuisine features thoughtfully selected, locally available and ethically sourced ingredients with clever house-made twists, created by our talented culinary team. (Formerly Forester's Restaurant at Olympic View).
Brasserie L'ecole
Price: Expensive•French•4.7(37)Located inside of what was once a Chinese schoolhouse, Brasserie l'Ecole in Victoria, British Columbia now serves high-end French cuisine in a casual setting. The name is actually a nod to this building's former occupation (l'Ecole means 'the school' in French) and the unpretentious atmosphere (a Brasserie is laidback eatery that serves comfort food).
Chef leans heavily on our local farmers, using seasonal ingredients to create a menu that is a callback to the kind of food that was once common along the French countryside. While it changes regularly, Brasserie l'Ecole never strays too far from its classics: steaks, burgers, onion soup and frites. The wine is French, the food is French leaning and the staff are fantastic.Wind Cries Mary

They bring this experience home with a sense of wonder and curiosity. Of longing and searching for their own identity. One they are committed to discover through craft and experimentation. To understand and discover their own identity. Their own version of their lineage.
The medium for this exploration is food. Not to replicate their great grandmother’s Rouladen, but to create something new, that would make her proud.

- CChrisVIPPalm Springs / Palm Desert Cities •21 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI can say this is my favourite restaurant! We always have outstanding meals when we visit Victoria - whether breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinner, The Courtney Room always impresses. The new cocktail list is AWESOME - Strawberries and Cream is highly recommended. On our latest visit we enjoyed the Chef's Tasting Menu. I'm excited by the evolution of Chef Brian's menus since first eating at TCR. Always happy to show his culinary confidence with delicious, flavour forward menus - Brian's craft has grown in both complexity and deftness. Always leveraging the very best of the Pacific Coast, Brian creates a flow of dishes that is not to be missed when visiting Victoria. His care and attention is evident in every bite - from using Cowichan Kamut wheat in a funny little fresh pretzel to foraged morel mushrooms stuffed with ricotta - the chef showcases his skill while allowing these precious ingredients to shine in their own right. Everything in its place, like the instruments in a symphony, coming together to create a masterpiece. I can't wait to see what TCR does next!More infoThe Courtney RoomPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Canadian• Victoria•4.6
