Lovely relaxed lunch. Comfortable and stylish. Great food, cooked and served perfectly. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful staff who were genuinely happy to help and who served with a smile. Very enjoyable.

Went for breakfast food was very good and plenty of it service was Excellent always served with a smile, The one and only fault I could say was the bacon was to crispy for me, saying that my wife loved it like that apart from that great breakfast and beautiful place.

The overall ambience was fabulous, and most of the food was delicious. However, dessert was a disappointment. We ordered the black orange trifle, which neither looked nor tasted like a trifle. It was served in a white soup bowl, with a charcoal-grey mixture that was far too sweet. On top was what looked like the underside of a mushroom, along with basil and what resembled red onion jelly, but was orange and basil. Visually unappealing and not at all enjoyable, resembled something a baby would be served. That said, everything else was lovely, and it’s still a place worth visiting for a treat.

Since it was my partner's birthday and we wanted to watch the Six Nations, I requested a table near a TV. Perfect. I mistakenly booked the table for 2pm, rang up to request 6pm. Normally bookings aren't taken after 5pm so I booked for 5pm, even though most guests couldn't come until after that. Staff totally accommodating even though it was at its busiest time. It was a lovely evening. Thanks!
