Western Kentucky Restaurants

We enjoyed a meal at Tony's on a random Wednesday night. The good: the steak was very tender, but was not prepared as medium as requested. Sweet potatoes and the shrimp and grits were delicious. Actually, we said it was the best shrimp and grits we had ever enjoyed. And the fudge peanut butter brownie with ice cream was incredible. I would visit again for dessert only. The bad: the space is not very intimate, but that is a matter of preference. The music was also too loud. We reserved an outdoor table, but unfortunately, they only open the garage doors when the weather is nice. But it was 5:30 on a sunny 68 degree evening. Also, our waitress was lovely, but the refinement of service at this price point was lacking. The crumbs weren't swept from the table. They brought us a warm towel and lemon, but that extra touch seemed random compared to the rest. Finally, the oysters were not very good.

The service at Noko was impeccable. Our server was personable and treated us to dumplings and cake (including a candle) for my birthday. I legit felt like we were in an episode of The Bear (yes, chef). I received a call today from the restaurant thanking me for dining with them. I really have never experienced such personal service. And let’s not forget the food - AMAZING. It is served tapas style so we tried multiple things and loved it all. I even got a call from the restaurant today thanking me for dining with them… just wow. I absolutely cannot wait to go back.

Each dish was amazing and great example of elevated classic Italian cuisine. However, on the feedback rating, I wouldn’t say the noise level was ‘energetic’ it was just loud. Which made it difficult to hear the person across the table from me, which was a little annoying. But other than that, 10 out of 10 amazing food and experience!!

Wonderful meal and fantastic service! It is noisy, you practically have to strain to hear the live entertainment BUT it’s beautiful and the food and service is top notch! Highly recommend

Overall, we enjoyed the experience. Our filets were cooked to our order and the Steakhouse salad was really good, as was the loaded baked potato. The rolls and garlic butter were a great filler before the meal. Not an inexpensive meal with the drinks included but reasonable for a gaming restaurant.
