If I could give more stars I would! One of the absolute best meals I have had in the entire UK. The food was incredible. Truly fantastic. The staff were gracious and attentive. Very prompt service and did not rush us through our meal. The recommendations for drinks and meals were spot on. The Gin and Tonic was delicious with Hendricks Gin and Fever Tree elderflower tonic. The Rattler Cider was light, flavorful and refreshing. We started with the salt and pepper fried squid (tender with nice crunch to the breading), we then split a entree salad with mixed greens, walnuts, assorted peppers, onions, goat cheese and grilled peaches with balsamic vinegar drizzled on them. OMG it was sooo good. I had duck breast with 5 spices and stir fried fresh vegetables with bacon crochettes. It was fresh and perfectly cooked with sophisticated spices and every element on the plate worked together. A great dish! My son had the beer battered haddock with chips and mushy peas. It was delicious and he said it was the best he had tasted. We finished with sticky toffee pudding and a cappuccino that was excellent. The restaurant is spacious, upscale but not fussy and spotless. I cancelled our reservations tomorrow at another restaurant because we are going back

Being quite honest this pub was not our first choice but after having no reply from other local pubs we booked with this pub and the moored was amazing. The staff were also very attentive and the beer although not local was very ood

Great food in a friendly atmosphere. Generous portions and good house wine.

Had lunch with friends, great friendly service, good menu choices, good food. Only complaint was it was very quiet so no atmosphere.
