Wonderful food, friendly staff and a great ambience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. Best tapas we’ve had anywhere.

Overall our experience at the White Horse was fantastic. The service from Sarah was a particular plus! She was attentive and knowledgeable, and kept all tables well looked after, along with the rest of the floor staff. We did choose to have a starter, opting for the seared Tuna with Asian spiced vegetables from the specials menu. This was a little disappointing as the chilli was so strong, we couldn't really taste the Tuna at all (personal taste so didn't complain, just wouldn't have it again). Having said that, the seafood sharing platter we had for main was exceptionally good, and was worthy of the 5 stars for food on its own. With my guest tasting some of the seafood for the first time, the verdict was a unanimous WIN. In her words "it actually tastes like the sea". Faultless! Another minor grumble was the use of Edmunds premixed cocktails, which I questioned as soon as I tasted my drink (the flavour is unmistakeable and not in a good way). I know venues in the area like to use locally sourced products from Norfolk, but these premixed cocktails are dreadful, and when the restaurant isn't busy, cocktails should be mixed to order, especially when we are being charged £12.50! Little niggles aside, this is one of the most enjoyable meals we've had in the area and we will certainly visit again at some point (minus the cocktails).

Our first time at this restaurant and really loved it. The whole experience was amazing. Well done all keep up the excellent work.

The lunchtime session was extremely busy, with a graduation ceremony in the city. The staff coped extremely well, and efficiently, and the food maintained its usual high standard. The 2/3 course lunch special is exceptional value, given the quality of food.

The good was very tasty and well presented. Staff were pleasant but not as attentive as they have been before. The only thing I didn't like was that we had to pay up front for our meals. This is just a personal preference.
