We have visited a number of times. The food is excellent as is the service and greeting. It is an immensely nice place to drink and eat. Great value and I would highly recommend The Club House.

A very nice hotel with excellent food choices, food cooked to perfection. Waitress service excellent very attentive nothing was too much trouble thank you for a excellent evening meal.

Booked for lunch, busy trade as location is ideal for beachfront, walks and travelling onwards to Cornwall/London. We shared a starter of mussels which were plump, served in a cream sauce with leeks, delicious. To follow, we chose the crab rolls with radish and pickles and were not disappointed. They came with excellent chips. Service here is friendly, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend. All day parking for £8 is available across from the pub from April to September. The Anchor will reimburse £2.

We were well looked after by all the staff, particularly Lily & Bailey but everyone was lovely. They accommodated a last minute time change due to First Bus changing a route & a reduction in guests attending due to illness. A quick call & it was sorted. We had the bottomless brunch & all was good. It was busy so we had an extn to our time which we were happy with. Will be coming again.
