Restaurants near Hardy Monument

The menu has changed since we were here last time. I feel not for the better. They no longer have starters to go with the mains. They are now small plates which seems to be for a different audience. It’s a shame as I’ve been eating here over a number of years. The fish of the day wasn’t cooked very well and may not have been fresh. I ended up feeling unwell later in the evening. I won’t be going back.

We had a wonderful meal at a table that overlooked the bay.. staff were friendly and efficient.. couldn't have asked for more. Absolutely perfect.. thank you Oliveto

Lovely food, friendly and knowledgeable service. We had a lovely time.

The food was very good quality and service good too -they were well resourced for the number of diners given how busy the café is. The ambience - and the views - vary according to the seating area there are three - the main part of the cafe,, the mid-terrace more relaxed and the "indoor area at the top.

Tremendous service at The Turks Head, food delicious and plentiful. Their rump steak was melt in the mouth. I would highly recommend this friendly pub/restaurant and the dog was welcome too.
