I celebrated my 44th birthday. My waitress,Mary,was amazing! The food was superb. I was overly satisfied!
Top marks across the board for the Red Stag. Carrot soup and vichyssoise were superb, scallops and filet mignon were excellent also. Good wine list with a range of price levels and attentive service. Atmosphere is unique, dark and quiet. Will definitely return. Highly recommended .
Great atmosphere! That’s about it! The food is minimal with exceedingly high prices. $13 for 4 quarter sized cheese fritters is a bit much! Then I ordered a filet mignon, medium, after 30-40 mins of waiting the steak was cooked medium rare. When charging $42 for a steak I would recommend that it be the temp that was ordered. We were compensated for the mistake with a free dessert. I do appreciate the recovery which I didn’t ask for. Overall I wasn’t impressed. I won’t be back.

Excellent steak with perfect sear on the outside! So much flavor without using a selected sauce. Vegetable sides were also perfection: sautéed kale & roasted carrots with dill & tarragon!
Beautiful lodge feel, quiet and cozy feel. Our server was good but had too many tables. The Elk carpaccio was amazing, as were the bison sirloin and the best short rib ever - bison - with perfect risotto. Highly recommend for game selections.

It was very dark in the restaurant. The menu had some good choices but not too many. The bison short rib was good, trout was kind of dry…. Not fond of the kale or blue grits and the risotto wasn’t bad. The ice cream came from the freezer so it was hard to get the spoon into it. The waiter was very good.

Unique atmosphere with game heads and antler chandeliers. We chose the chefs special along with premium wines and it was well worth it. I main dish was both trout which was cooked perfectly and elk steak accompanied by a pre-dinner salad and a fantastic dessert. We would eat here again a minute

Dining here was a bad experience. The music and ambiance was horrible. The scallops were cooked well but the sauce ruined the dish. The only saving thing was the carrot cake which was good.

The restaurant is very ambient. Dark rich wood, lots of deer horns and heads everywhere. The art in the hotel is beautiful. The chef's tasting menu was less than impressive. The elk was raw... cooked 2/3 on one side and briefly turned for the other side. The "tomato gravy" desperately needed salt. The steamed kale needed to be chopped before steaming. The chocolate cake was typical. The price for all of this was too high. I would not recommend this because of the value for the money. When we left, my wife and I both agreed that the whipped potatoes were the best part of the evening.

The Decour and ambience was excellent as well as the service. Although the food was very delicious it was very overpriced for what we received. Most of the entrées did not come with any sides including the special which was a steak for two at 32 oz. for 135. If you wanted any thing else it was all à la carte. We both opted for the duck entrée which included a small spoon of mashed potatoes and some sautéed spring peas. It was tasty but lacked anything special for the 35. Price tag. Many beautiful restaurants in town that offer much more food and value

Everything was excellent with the exception of my meal. I ordered the Bison short ribs which were delicious, what little they served. You only get two short ribs with the meal, which makes it a very poor value considering what it cost. Very disappointed for such a nice restaurant, I had expected better from them. I would still recommend the restaurant, just don't get the short ribs if you are hungry.
The waitress was the best! The manager and host were not as nice and friendly. I don't think we will be coming back it just didn't feel right being there. We spent a lot of money it was our Anniversary and it could have been better overall.

Parking is easy (valet and free!), the food and service are always great, and it’s quiet at lunch and easy to converse..
The filet was juicy and tender. Salads very fresh.
Loved the food and atmosphere. We had the chef's 4 course tasting menu & enjoyed every bite.
Also, highly recommend the "PillowTalk" drink. If you like a sweet cocktail.
