   It was our 40th Anniversary, so I wanted somewhere special. By the description and reviews, it seemed to fit, but we were disappointed. The staff was well trained and attentive, but the prices are insulting for what you get. It just seemed like an overpriced restaurant, instead of a memorable experience. I splurged for the $22 mai tai. then paid the $14 for Focaccia bread that would be included at most restaurants. The Mahi mahi was good, but not great, especially for $60. The $62 beef short rib was better and a decent serving size. For reference, on our 25th in Maui, we went to Mama's Fish House and the cost was similar, and it so amazing we have repeated a few times. Unfortunately this doesn't come close.

   The mimosa flight was so fun. My husband said it was the best loco Moco he’d ever tasted. The soufflé pancakes were really special!

   Service was impeccable from start to finish, food was fantastic. Drinks first off, poipu paradise and gin martini, excellent. Scallops appetizer and focaccia to start, then lobster gnocchi and short rib for entrees, all delicious. Drank a bottle of Pinot I brought, $35 corkage. Dessert was flourless chocolate cake, very decadent and very good! The only detractor is that the room is extremely loud, making conversation a bit difficult.

   Staff and food were top notch. Noise level was high due to hardscape flooring and decor. We felt that was a detractor.

   So very difficult to rate. Service was excellent. Salad was a 10/10 however my lobster on my gnocchi was basically raw. Slight cooked on the outside but raw internal. I returned it, received an apology and it was removed from the bill. So a huge error but was corrected. Just did not except such a big error and is the reason for my lower review. I realize things happen and would probably go back at another time.

   Our anniversary dinner was absolutely amazing!! Starting off with the best waiter Noah! Outstanding customer service and so welcoming! The food quality was a 10! Would highly recommend, and will definitely go back! Mahalo!!

    Red Salt does not disappoint. Great selection of wine. The food is fabulous! Especially the Ricotta dip. I might recommend the Chefs selections ofc the menu. It was excellent! Five stars for me
