Red Lantern CT
They offer specials for each day of the week. Service is good when it’s not too busy. You will need to know where the main door is to find it. Food is as expected. Drinks are good. I would recommend it.
Fantastic food and service! Loved the atmosphere! Try the lobster rangoons!
Nicole was a absolutely amazing server. It was a ladies night out and she made sure we weren’t rushed and the food came out hot and quickly. Portions were perfect and flavors were spot on. I can’t wait for our next dining experience. Thank you
what an amazing experience. Waitress was outstanding and honest. our food was 5 star! and delicious. Great experience and highly recommend.
The BEST fried rice I have EVER HAD!!!!!
food was amazing. everything we ordered was fantastic. server was great. only downside is the music, it's a little loud. I would definitely go back again
Our experience was horrible. The waitress we had was immature, rude, NOT professional and kept playing with her long hair - gross!
She was NOT knowledgeable when we asked her questions about the establishment. We will not be returning.
We had a delicious dinner at the Red Lantern. We ordered lobster rangoon which was flavorful and not greasy. Our Korean Chopped Salad was filled with fresh vegetables and served with a tasty and tangy dressing. We ordered drunken noodles which included generous portions on beef, shrimp, and vegetables accompanied by three sizes of noodles. The generous portion was scrumptious. The espresso martinis were delicious. Our server was attentive, friendly. and knowledgeable. We highly recommend the restaurant.
Jim gaffigan show. Best dumplings and sauces. Loved my shrimp tempura make roll too.
Overall this was pretty good. It’s advertised as a $ restaurant here but the maid dishes are definitely in the $$ range. Lighting was super super dim almost to the point of darkness with side ambient light. Service was awesome, food was very good. Drinks were very well mixed and not crazy priced. Would go back for sure.
Very busy but well managed in both the front and back of the house. Reservations highly recommended. Food was excellent and service was fast. We got the Hot Rock for $36 and it was great but not enough food for two people. We are not big eaters so we were surprised when it wasn’t enough. So we ordered more food. Maybe we misunderstood that Hot Rock was for two. Regardless it was excellent.
It’s an upscale Chinese restaurant in Foxwoods so I expect the prices to be higher. The portions are great though. My biggest issue is honestly he taste of the water. I’m not sure if it’s just Foxwoods water that is the problem but the restaurant should consider better filtering or different water all together because I literally couldn’t drink it. I drink tap water all of the time so I’m really not finicky about water. Otherwise, the dumplings are delicious! The dipping sauce for the spring rolls is great as well! The general tso is a must have. The teriyaki steak noodles is awesome but live had the noodles come out kind of hard a few times. Overall, my usually restaurant when I go to Foxwoods.
We would recommend the food not the place. Waitress was nice, manager needs more help up front. People cut in front of us and were served before us. It was very unorganized for such a busy night. Food was good. Next time we are taking out only.
We enjoyed our dinner. The food was good and the service was excellent. It's a bit pricey but all in all a nice time.
Chicken was half under cooked, half over cooked. Veggies weren’t fresh. I go to the Red Lantern in Boston and it is a much better experience. The reason I didn’t give one star was because the food came back fast. Needless to say with all the food options between foxwoods and Mohegan, I will not be back
This is our second time eating here, both times were very good. Recommend getting an order of the honey garlic steak appetizer.
Food wasn’t that good and wasn’t worth the cost, food quality wasn’t as good as the hype and I will not recommend it to anyone
Delicious and interesting Thai food
Great for a pre show dinner , close by the Grand Theatre
We celebrated a friend’s 40th birthday. Gillian, our server, was fantastic. Food was very good and the Bottle Rocket was a fun drink for celebrating.
Big plates of great food for a great price. Was very satisfied!
I came to Foxwoods for Red Sox weekend and a night out. Red Lantern never disappoints! The food is great and comes out quickly. And the servers are always so good to us. Victoria was so nice and genuine! She answered our questions and made the dinner even better. Thanks for a nice night out!!
We ate dinner at 6 PM. Restaurant had few people, probably due to the Red Sox activities.
We had great service, good red wine and Japanese beer on tap.
We liked the spring rolls and fried rice with large chucks of chicken, but the Steak Teriyaki was the highlight. We had a lot of leftovers.
If we come back to Foxwoods, we will definitely come back.
The restaurant was very noisy and the service was very poor. I large group was seated next to us after we arrived and our server had the table of 14 people and was not attentive to us after that, The food was not very good and we had to have it reheated since our original meal was sent back and the new item took forever to be served. All in all we will not be going back and we can not recommend this restaurant.
The food and service was excellent except green beans seemed extra salty and we couldn’t finish them. The rest was excellent. It felt like we had an air conditioner blowing on us and we had to eat with our coats on.
We always end up having Taylor as our waitress. Great service , Great Personality & very knowledgeable. When I do get to see my parents we love to go to Red Latern & can’t thank Taylor enough for making the experience always enjoyable.
Had birthday gathering there staff was excellent catering to our every request. Food is outstanding and everyone had a blast.
Enjoyed it thoroughly! Very fresh food and so much that you can take some home. Will visit again!
We came here to eat for my boyfriends birthday! I must say the food was amazing and came out very quick!! We also loved how romantic it felt in there with the dim lighting!!
I've been to the Red Lantern several times and always enjoy it. The Sushi is solid and they have some great hot dishes as well. I highly recommend the boneless spare ribs. While the app has gotten smaller over the years, they are still melt in your mouth ribs. Typically, the service is very good. Unfortunately, on my last visit (NYE 2018) our server was a little slow and not overly attentive. As expected it was busy (being the holiday) but I've been in on other very busy nights and still got great service. The drinks are pricey but good. They make a great Espresso Martini. I always get one for desert. One caution, the place can get loud. If your looking for quiet dining on a busy night this isn't it!! If you looking for a fun, up-beat, party atmosphere this is the place for you. All and all, I recommend the restaurant and will be back in the future.
New years eve
Always happy with the food
Large quantity good for sharing
Not good fish. Like 5 types of fish. Good service poor selection.
My husband and I had a 9pm reservation which we arrived early for on Christmas Eve. It took 10 minutes for anyone to come over. Then we asked nicely to be relocated away from a table that was a small 2 top against a wall we were told that the other tables were reserved. Needless to say in the half hour it took the restaurant to close no one else arrived. It left a very sour note for our evening for the amount of money we spent to not have been able to enjoy our meal with elbow room along with having the server who watered us give us massive attitude. To top it off our server argued with my husband because he ordered salmon roe sushi and that he received it in a lemon shell and that’s how they always do it. Which if we’re the case don’t list it under the sushi option of the menu then... O also ordered a traditional lychee martini and was told it was not a problem and got the menu martini with cherry vodka.
Overall not worth the amount of money you’d spend. Go to a steak house instead
Food was very poor quality.
My husband and I love this place. Unfortunately they changed one of our favorite appetizers (Chicken lettuce wrap) and isn't quite the same presentation and flavor that we used to enjoy. The rest of the menu is still great.
Had a great night for dinner. Appetizers were great and had great complimentary sauces. The main dishes were excellent. Seasoned very well and full of flavor. Drinks were strong and flavorful. I would highly recommend to anyone.
We found the service very slow. To compensate, the restaurant bought us our first drink.
I’ve been here for my birthday every year for the last 5 years. I love the vibe, the menu and the quicks service!
Server was late with everything
They messed up our order and the food took forever to arrive
