I highly recommended making a reservation. I absolutely love everything about this place from the friendly staff, the great food, to the great drinks.
Food is good
Quite a selection to choose from
The food and service were good. We would go back again.
Awesome server, awesome food and great atmosphere
This experience was not the best. We’ve dined here many times and the flavor of the food has gone downhill. I’m not sure it’s the new cooks or what, but things are like night and day compared to our other visits. The manager was very apologetic and comped our food. Our waitress Sarah was great and accommodating.
The menu selection is lacking. The food that we did have was good but not worth $25-$30 a plate. The sushi selection is disappointing as well and mainly consists of tempura style rolls. Overall I would not recommend this restaurant due to the price and menu selection. the service was great but the food was average at best. I expected much more.
Started off very nice with apps & drinks. When our dinners arrived, mine was not among them. I had ordered a Fried Rice dish w/Pork. We brought it to their attention and still waited another 20 minutes after reminding them yet again.
Every time I have gone to Red Lantern, my food has been hot and delicious! I look forward to going back.
Love their sushi!!! Mongolian steak is a must have!
Food was excellent - we had a really great, overall experience at the Red Lantern. I highly recommend this restaurant - it was a little loud, but so were we! Make a reservation for a Saturday night!
We waited for 15 minutes to place a drink order and then waited 42 minutes for our dinner which had the appetizers served after the entrees. The drinks were 14 and about 2 oz nd the food was awful
Variety of options, large servings, great atmosphere
Bachelor party weekend started with dinner here then went downstairs to club shrine! Can’t beat foxwoods
The staff was friendly and the food was delicious. Our entire party of 6 had a great time together. The birthday celebration was wonderful with the dragon and cake for the birthday person.
The hostess could have been more welcoming; seemed bothered which was odd because we were one of the first customers there at opening.
The sushi was fantastic but the shrimp in the pu pu platter was chewy and tasted as if it had been frozen.
I highly recommend red lantern for any occasion. I had been once on a random quiet date night with my boyfriend. And then a second time for my birthday with 13 friends. We were accommodated last minute with our own room and a nice square table. Our waitress attended to our every need. The employees and management were exceptional. It made my experience and birthday the best ever!
Delicious food each time I have gone here... good service and this time we sat at a table overlooking the nightclub and got to hear the music the DJ was playing and watch people dancing below. I asked for special accommodations on my maki roll and they were able to provide.
Always a go to favorite before a show. Excellent food, service and atmosphere.
I was disappointed in the knowledge of the employees. The hostess wasn't aware of the happy hour so she directed me to the endless sushi, which I didn't as want as much. The bartender didn't know what the ingredients were in one of the rolls I ordered and it ended up to be items I would never have ordered had I known. The manager seemed more interested in eating his dinner than making me feel like a valued guest. Won't be going back there.
Service was excellent and food came out very quickly and exactly how we ordered it. The waitress was great, very friendly and attentive.
This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area, at least our favorite and it didn’t disappoint.
They changed their menu and it's not nearly as good as it used to be 😢 The hot rock is still decent but they took away the sauces that used to come with it. The Steak with truffle fries is amazing. The service can be very slow on weekends.
I cannot tell you that your experience will be like ours, but when it all comes together at this place it is a great place to dine.
As a gluten-free diner it was great to have an asian meal! Great place for dinner before a concert. Speedy service & we were seated at exactly our reservation time.
Red Lantern is my favorite restaurant in the Foxwoods Casino resort. the food is always exceptional, the service is attentive, efficient and friendly, and the ambiance is extraordinary. If you are headed to Foxwoods for an event, make sure you stop in to Red Lantern.
Really enjoyable dinner before a Toby Keith concert just across the casino floor at the Grand Theatre. Food was surprisingly good and service was great. Pricey but good value....
Girls night out
Sushi was very good but hot items were mediocre. We requested our stir fry be spicy but was bland.
Delicate meals with vibrant flavor. The second a dish is made it comes to your table. You can tell they put alot of effort in the presentation of the food and how it is made. Nothing was over salted or under spiced. Quality, non-garbage bottled beer available. Service was great, fast and attentive but not overbearing. Got the pork sliders app, the specialty shrimp maki and general tso's chicken, a couple beers, fried ice cream dessert. Obviously the only big negative here is the price. I don't think a General Tso's chicken dish should be $30+ but you bite the bullet and swallow that pill when you make a decision to eat at Foxwoods. Value aside, you'll have a great time here. The ambiance is great, bathrooms clean and place is a/c'd well.
Appetizers were delicious but the stir fried chicken lacked flavor, it was bland. It was just like a diet dish. Taste can be low in calories
Fun place and food is great!
Celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious. However, a bit disappointing that there was nothing to make it feel like a special occasion.
The waitress we had made the experience seem very rushed, she didn’t have much of a personality. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura and it was scarce, I finished well before everyone and was still hungry and our waitress didn’t come over enough for me to be able to order more food.
We went here for my best friend bday dinner. It was amazing. To bad we do not live in CT to come here more often. The restaurant is very inviting, cool Asian decor. The food was outstanding and so was the service.. would love to come here again..
Not worth it at all. The food at my local cheap Chinese place is way better! Lettuce wraps? More like chopped chicken in a random sauce. The food is super bland. But, if you like that, then go check it out. Not worth it at all.
I am giving this 2 star although food was decent. The lobster Rangoon’s were delicious! The reason for fair rating is due to service. We ordered dinner and I ordered sushi my husband ordered generals Tso chicken. They brought husbands food and forgot mine. Waited 10 min b 4 I got my dinner.
Great food and great service. Will def be back again soon :)
Fantastic as always
Food was delicious, nice atmosphere. Our complaint is that we ordered 2 $13.00 drinks but the waitress misunderstood the order and brought a much more expensive drink for one of us. The drink total was $58.00 for 2 drinks. We didn't even know until the bill came and when we complained there was no offer of remediation.
Been here before and good meal for the money and the same this time around
I always love coming here—I took my boyfriend here for his birthday, and we were at the restaurant for sushi happy hour ($5 select rolls). The food was great, service was great, and the mai tails were strong! Overall, excellent experience; this is one restaurant I always try to hit whenever I visit Foxwoods.
