We came to celebrate my daughters 10th birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The view was amazing, the service was exquisite and professional and most of all we had a phenomenal time!
Thank you Ritz Carlton for always upholding your name and service!
Food, service and view were near perfect.
Menu hasn’t significantly changed in 10 years...
The service was not up to what I expect for Ritz Carlton but the food was fantastic!
Our servers, Gina and Ethan were excellent. Our lunch, as always, was wonderful.
We had our very favorite, fabulous waiter Dean, who made our evening extra special!
Ritz Carlton always has the best and most excellent service. Everytime we come here, the excellent service has been consistent.
This is our second time here and the view is spectacular. The food and the service is great.
You will not me disappointed with a visit to Raya. The food, ambiance and service are all spectacular. We have visited for brunch on a few occasions and will definitely be back. The views are stunning and the food is delicious! Staff is courteous and helpful. This is our fave breakfast/brunch spot.
Ambiance is wonderful. Unfortunately, we waited almost 45 minutes for our entrees to be served, and when they were, they were cold. Food would have been very good if it had been served hot. The management offered to recook our entrees, but after a 45 minute wait the first time, we declined. They did not charge us for our cold entrees which was appropriate, but our experience was very disappointing.
It was fantastic.
Lovely spot and one of the best Cesaer salads I have ever eaten. Only suggestion is to pay attention to reservations indicating a special event. It was my friend's birthday and we made it quite clear on the reservation and to the hostess but the waiter gave us the check with no birthday dessert so my friend said " it's my birthday" and we were treated to one of the best desserts I have ever eaten. Nice but could have been handled better.
Delicious food and beautiful views of the ocean. Slow service especially between ordering and getting our first course salads. Would come again.
Anniversary
great food and view
We had excellent service and a great meal at Raya. If you come before sunset the view is incredible. We were there after dark, but the restaurant still has a lovely ambiance. We would recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner out, a family meal or a gathering with friends. It was elegant but comfortable.
took my daughter who was visiting from Wisconsin. she loved it!!
I made the reservation on a whim...1/2 hour out, not knowing anything about the restaurant. I was beyond pleased. Great atmosphere, great drinks, exceptional service, and the food delivered.
It was foggy, so couldn't see oceanview
But food and service was great. I will absolutely visit again.
Amazing wedding anniversary dinner for both couples. Spectacular setting of cliff side ocean view only to be surpassed by the series of amazing appetizers and signature main entrees. A big thank you to the team of Elizabeth and Emily... and, a curtain call for the fabulous cuisine of Chef Quy Trinh! WOW!
The hostess was surly, the waiter was not trained on use of the proper wine glass
Celebrating our anniversary (notated in our reservation) and it was not acknowledged. Minor detail, but it was disappointing since we celebrate many special occasions at the Ritz.
Perfect night.....ambience and food was awesome. Crab Dungeness mash potato was the best. Will be back.
Beautiful view, great service, Andrew and the staff were amazing. I’m a vegetarian and found lots of options. Will def. come back.
View of Pacific Ocean was spectacular, food was outstanding, and service was great.
I had the romaine salad with added salmon - and the salmon was cooked PERFECTLY. It was crispy on the outside and moist and tender on the inside, with a delicate fresh flavor. The salad had sweet roasted corn and just enough dressing - not too much. The view of the ocean is spectacular! Both our waiter and his assistant provided excellent and friendly service. Our iced tea glasses never got empty - and we were thirsty!
New Years Eve Dinner
It was evening:-)
The server was really a disappointment as he brought everything LATE
I received beverage AFTER the meal but ordered it prior
Had to ask for everything
FOOD FABULOUS!!!
Let me start with the food. It was all excellent. Branzini, cod salmon chicken and shrimp dishes were terrific! Complimentary dessert was very good ( although they wrote birthday when it was anniversary.).
The restaurant was very cold, and the person sitting on the end out in the aisle got a breeze down the aisle which was really unacceptable. We felt a cool air and a waitress confirmed the air conditioning was on. Everyone in the restaurant kept jackets and sweaters on.
I would go back in better weather, & earlier & when the time changes do you can see out before it gets dark.
Basically our go to. Service is amazing out favorite German server always greets us with a smile and is the most kind human in the world! The food is perfect every time ever dish. Ritz does it right m
We ordered from a limited price fix menu. $125.00 per person. My steak was very grizzly. Great flavor but difficult to cut into. I showed the waiter that 1/4 of my steak was grizzle lying on my plate. 1/2 was left after I grew tired of trying to cut it. No word back and no offer to drop our price or offer another item.
The price per plate with limited options was not a good value. We have fined here many times over the years and this was not a great experience-it may be our last.
My Daughters Birthday
We love this place as annual Christmas girls lunch. Typically it's over the top decorations but not this year. The cold empty feeling wasn't uplifted by the menu one bit. Waiter was exceptional saving the experience slightly.
Staff was extremely friendly. Food was good and service was great. Thanks Raya!
Very expensive and the food quality while good doesnt justify the prices
Our server was excellent, very professional and welcoming.
Service was excellent! Our waiter was personable and attentive. Cocktails were perfect. The entrees were average - we expected a higher quality and more sophisticated flavors. All in all we had an enjoyable evening.
Dean is amazing
No no and no. Service was poor. Brought bread and had to ask for bread plates and knives. Ordered ice tea...finally came but never offered a refill. Friend ordered wine which she had to flag down a wait person to remind them. Waiter NEVER came back after food was delivered to ask if we needed anything, how was the food, etc. Also, we ordered an appetizer (which we needed the bread plates for) and the entree came at almost the same time.
Also, and this has nothing to do with the RAYA, but Ritz allows people to approach you and try and sell stuff and invite you to some sort of meeting. Felt like I was at the mall with people trying to sell me face cream as I walked through.
