Rascal is an ideal choice when looking for a great evening hangout in Los Angeles. For dinner or happy hour, the simple menu allows for intense dedication to each dish. For example, take the old classic of mac and cheese and kick it up with blue cheese, sharp cheddar, onion puree and arugula chimichurri. Even fried chicken gets special attention with the addition of pancetta gravy and marinating the boneless chicken in buttermilk. Rascal continues that inventiveness into dessert with lemon cheese cake in a jar that includes cheese cake mousse, lemon curd and ginger crust crumbs. The bar is no different with inventive cocktails, cider on tap, draft beer, bottled beer and wines. Reservations and orders to go are accepted at Rascal.
