Rao's, the legendary East Harlem eatery, is now set in Hollywood amongst the studio district branding its third location. Widely acclaimed as one of the hardest reservations in America, Rao's New York was established in 1896 and has not moved locations since its inception.

Featuring iconic classics such as Uncle Vincent's Lemon Chicken, Meatballs, Veal Parmesan, Shrimp Scampi and Baked Clams, Rao's Hollywood showcases all signature Rao's dishes as well as unique additions creating a robust and fulfilling dining experience.

Ordered the NY Strip, Bone-In Veal Parmesan and started with Caesar’s Salad. I’m a big Veal Parm guy and this was the best I’ve had. Tender and tasted amazing. The NY Strip melts in your mouth!

Our 39th wedding anniversary was amazing at Rao’s. dinner drinks and ambience was over the top. we love everything about Rao’s. quality food and excellent service. very happy we choose Rao’s

Thankfully we were seating in the back, where it was quiet. The service was wonderful, and the food was delicious: the portions were large. They pointed out a mistake that had been done by the kitchen and corrected it, with grace. I would absolutely return!

Rao’s was a wonderful experience! Just found out about it and can’t wait to go back. The food, the atmosphere, the vibe, and the service were exceptional! Kevin was a very attentive waiter and he didn’t rush us at all. The rest of the staff were very nice also. We will definitely return and recommend to our friends. Thank you Rao’s for a wonderful dinner experience!!!

My daughter and I had a really lovely evening here last night before seeing a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The ambiance, food, and service were all top notch. A big call out to Marco, who was a wonderful, helpful server. He made us feel at home and very pampered. We had been craving pasta recently, so we both ordered the Rigatoni pasta, hers with marinara and mine with pomodoro sauce, and I added mushrooms and olives. Both versions were superlative. The cheesecake was really THE VERY BEST cheesecake ever, in my humble opinion. This was my first visit to Rao’s, even though I am addicted to their various bottled sauces, but it most certainly won’t be my last!
