   I have been to Randy’s many times and was looking forward to taking my wife out for Mother’s Day. I made a reservation as I always do for our favorite waiter, Vegas. When they called to confirm, she also noted that we requested Vegas. When we arrived, I was informed that Vegas had a large party and was offered the opportunity for another server. Suffice to say, I should have waited on Vegas. It was without question the worst service that I have received at Randy’s. Our waiter was inattentive to our table from the time we sat down. When he did finally take our order, we never received our appetizer with no explanation or apology. After we finished our salads, my wife requested hers to be boxed to go. He left the plates on the table for the duration of our service and finally returned to box her salad and our leftover entrees at the same time. And when our entrees came, the sides were not served again with no explanation or apology. We ordered our dessert to go. After a lengthy wait, he returned with our desserts plated for dine in. At this point, we had been there for more than 2.5 hours and we just wanted to leave. The whole experience was completely ruined for my wife. The only saving grace is that the actual food was amazing as it always is.

   Great place! The food was on point, Randy came by and checked on us multiple times. The staff was tentative and very friendly. 💯 Satisfied!

   Absolutely outstanding food and service! Randy’s is such a gem in the center of Frisco not to be missed! We had such a wonderful wonderful time! I promise you will not be disappointed! I just found out they’re going to be open Christmas Eve this year and I will be making my reservation!!!

   The food and service was excellent!!! We had filets and rib eyes with baked potato. They were perfect. Would definitely recommend dining there!

   We had the Friday special with half-price filet mignon, which were perfectly grilled. Our sides of turtle soup, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were great accompaniments.

    We had a wonderful meal & evening celebrating our 47th Wedding Anniversary except for 1-thing, Randy’s “does not” honor his Happy Hour! Randy’s advertises a 5pm-7pm, Happy Hour, but guess what, that’s “ONLY” in the bar. The advertising on his website is somewhat misleading and when asked, even the waiters & bartender told me that they did not think that was fair. At least Randy could have something in the menu that states his policy. I hope Randy reads this and makes a change. Other than that snafu, we enjoyed a delicious meal of homemade bread & butter, HUGE onion rings, feta salads, ribeyes, garlic mashed potatoes, several glasses of wine and crème brûlée. Our waiter did comp the dessert and gave us a nice bottle of Randy’s Chardonnay which I thought was a very nice gesture to celebrate our special occasion. We’ll definitely be going back again (we’ve eaten there many times before, but didn’t drink), but we will sit in the bar to drink unless Randy changes his policy.
