Awful service and below average bar food. Skip it!
Service was terrible. Food was just ok. Waiter would walk away in middle of order without explanation. Slow to get good etc. we won’t be back.
Great service for our birthday party
Came in for Sunday football, plenty of room in all areas. Specials were $1 Off pints and kids eat for $1 from the kids menu. Burgers and sandwiches at $12-15 are flavorfull, but disappointing. The patty/topping ratio to bun is less than ideal, too much bread, not enough burger. Fries seem handcut, well salted but were soft and chewy. Dirt cup milkshake and cheddar curds save this from being a 2 star food rating.
Was seated and ignored by numerous wait staff for over 15 minutes. Got up and left, I will not be going back.
First time experience at this restaurant. Made reservations but decided to sit at the bar to drink and eat but the Bartender had the worst attitude and customer service. Her name is Erin.....We let her know it will be on two separate bills and immediately cut us off with “Don’t tell me it’s two different bills it’s all one till the end”. Ignored us the whole time, gave us watered down drinks like they have been sitting with ice for a while. She did not even bother checking in with us until the end when she asked if we will be ordering so we decided to Sit in the dining area (since her customer service was horrible and had an attitude). we wanted to have another drink but before we can let her know she cut us off again while walking away “let me close your tabs then”. Put the receipts in two separate cups slid them to us and walked away. No thank you, no enjoy your meal, NOTHING.
Always enjoy the RAM
The restaurant didn’t have enough people to serve everyone that came in to eat so you never got your food until real late drinks came in last instead of first and getting the check was a chore to be need help
Worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. Waited at front desk for 10 minutes. Waited for 20 minutes before waitress arrived. Waited 15 minutes for most of the drinks to arrive; the soda took longer. And on and on. The hot food was cold while the cold food was warm.
Had a bad experience at RAM. Walked in and the hostess was immediately snippy and rude to customers. We were told that we could not be seated, yet the table we were sent to had been open since we walked in. Waiter barely checked in on his tables. It took over 40 minutes for us to get our entrees. I get that things happen and they were understaffed, but that is no excuse for customers to get blown off.
The tables were too close to each other. We felt cramped and could hear every word of the conversation at the table next to us. I asked the hostess if we could have one of the 3 empty booths, but she rudely stated that they were reserved. The service was poor. The waitress took 30 minutes to bring us our drinks. Once our food arrived, we never saw her again. We had to ask the bus boy for silverware and ketchup.
This was an awful experience. My party had a concert at 8pm ten minutes away. We had a reservation for 530pm. MORE than enough time to eat and make it to the concert. We left the restaurant at 7:20 pm, never having received any food. We canceled our order (which was placed at 5:45) and left.
We thought that having an early dinner reservation would mean a great experience. However, when 30 minutes after seating we still didn’t have water, and our drink order didn’t come until 45 minutes in, we were wrong. We didn’t see our actual waiter until 45 minutes after being seated. With a ticket event we needed to get to, we asked our waiter if he believed we would be able to place and reserve our order on time, he said he believed so. Another 30 minutes later, our table of 4 was still missing a drink order, and had not received our meal. The restaurant wasn’t overly full and we received no explanation. We finally tracked down a manager by walking the restaurant, handed our bill payment, minus our food, were simply apologized to for being short-staffed and had to go to our event without our dinner. We will not be returning. Nothing was compensated.
The Sargeant Pepper was the best burger I have ever tasted. It literally melted in my mouth. The Southwest sauce along with jalapeno pepper fingers was perfect. You got to try this burger!
Excellent for private dining! Thank you guys for a successful event!
Nice, casual place with great comfort food, craft beer, and great cocktails. Awesome place to meet a group of friends.
Overall was good. There was too much garlic on the Salmon.
I arrived for my 7p.m. reservation an 6:50 and was immediately seated. I waited to be approached (this on a Monday evening) and waited, and waited, my dinner companion arrived at 7:10 and we waited, and waited, and waited. We gave up at at 7:20 and went into the bar. The service was just a bit better, the drinks were POOR, and when the dinners arrived, my Cubano sandwich was EXCELLENT, and the Vampire Fries served DEAD COLD.
A fairly pathetic performance...I ate at the Ram (Rosemont) twice that night.
The first time, and the last.
The menu is pretty set, the service was a bit slow. It seemed that they were down on staff. Food was good, but the noise level made it very hard to hear what anyone at the table was saying. To be honest, we went there for a dinner and staff meeting, and it was a bad choice. The noise level was so high that I had to give up on playing a presentation on my laptop. I couldn't even hear anything, even though I was sitting with it.
It's a nice place for a beer and sandwich with friends, but not for a business meeting where you want to get anything done.
Great food and atmosphere! Small patio for a nice weather. Not too loud. Great price for kids on Sunday!
Medium burger was well done, bacon overcooked, blonde beer tasted like a pilsner. Our server was very nice. Not really anxious to return anytime soon.
Seemed understaffed. Don’t think they knew there was a sold out show at the arena up the street. Many of the same folks at the restaurant were at the concert.
We came before a show at the Allstate Arena. The Ram was perfect. Close by to the venue with all the good food and service you could ask for pre-concert going! Would definitely recommend! :-)
Great food, great server and service, very nice place.
I ordered a burger with caramelized bacon, bleu cheese, onion straws, arugula, and garlic aoli. It was the greatest burger of my entire life! I also the pretzel with beer cheese. It was enough for 4 people! It was very good as well.
My place to go when I need a fast and easy going environment.
So sad that the buffalo wings (cauliflower) are not until the menu....bring them back ASAP please
I chose this place because I've been there several times and it was perfectly located for me in the city and my friends from the suburbs. Problem was, the waitress was more in a rush to get us out of there then we were to leave. Reservation at 730p, kept bugging us to choose what we wanted, when we ordered the food came quick, but then she was in a hurry to clear everything. Then she brought us a dessert menu and when I asked for a cup of coffee she said they just threw it away. Dessert and no coffee? Very disappointed. I'm not saying I won't try it again, but it won't be on a Sunday evening - that's for sure.
Waiter was horrible. Too busy to answer questions. Too busy to remember order. Service was slow and waiter needed many reminders. Over embarrassing. Wasn't a positive, birthday experience.
Waitress was great. Food took 90 min to arrive. Quinoa and kale salad had very tiny amount of quinoa. It was disappointing. Two days before I had Olympus salad and it was outstanding!
Classic Turkey burger was very good. Our server was great! We had requested a booth but hostess said they were all reserved. There were booths open the entire time we were there.
It was very unpleasant ! It happened to be warm outside but it was hot inside! No air in dining room...beers couldn’t keep cold!
Not even full the capacity but we were seated at 5:30 and didn’t get drinks until around 6.
Server must have been stretched way too thin. It was over an hour till we got our meals.
Great service and delicious food.
The food was really good. However, the Poke Nachos were difficult to eat - more difficult than regular nachos but they had great flavor! I would still order them again. The bottom half of the Cubano sandwich was really soggy and the pickles fell off the sandwich.
Our server was a dud, we asked about the specials and she only told us about the happy hour specials, not the daily specials. She was slow and easily confused. Hopefully she is just new and still learning - she didn't have much of a personality. I would hate to see how her service is when the place is busy. Lucky for us it was pretty quiet in the dining room aside from a handful of other smaller parties and one larger "business" looking group. The bus boy did a very nice job of staying on top of clearing our table, he was friendly and helpful.
Was dropping my son off at the airport needed a quick bite good burgers good apps good beer
It was great! Loved it!
Loved this restaurant, brewery. We sat in the bar area which was great as very energetic. Food was outstanding and draft beer selection excellent. We will definitely return as highly recommend.
Food was very good. The waitress was nice but not very prompt considering it was the slow time of the afternoon.
We always have a good time coming to the RAM..The BEER is great. The only thing I would have to say is to go back to the menu from years ago.Forget about the fancy stuff..We used to always get the potato skins, chicken strips, regular normal nacho cheese nachos..too many black beans in everything.Keep the pretzel and beer cheese dip..How about a queso dip. A chicken stir fry would be great.
