The experience was outstanding
Our server was pleasant and overall pretty attentive. It took a while to order our entrees but overall pretty good. The appetizers were all pretty good except I didn’t really care for the shrimp skully. The truffle fries tasted great but were very greasy. The oyster gratin and crab were enjoyed, although I didn’t try them. I really enjoyed the burrata salad. The two of us that got steaks enjoyed our entrees, although I don’t think mine came with truffle butter as listed on the menu, and the two that got the the fish entrees (one of each) did not. The chocolate mousse and bread pudding were delicious.

Although the service was great and atmosphere wonderful, the food was nothing like it has been in the past. Of the 6 filet mignons ordered, 3 were overcooked and not enjoyable. The tuna tartare (which was a special app) was terrible. It was very fishy and did not smell good. No one could eat it. Some of us got the grilled garlic shrimp with our steaks and the head-on shrimp were not very appetizing. Although the praline bread pudding tasted like a fresh made dessert, the cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake tasted like decorated, store-bought desserts. Just not what we expected from a restaurant of its caliber and reputation.
Our party of 5 were all looking forward to another delicious meal at Ralph’s on the Park. The restaurant was a lovely as ever and the staff was efficient, not particularly welcoming, but attentive enough. Unfortunately the entrees were disappointingly lukewarm, which distracted from our enjoyment of the food. The majority of us ordered their filet with truffle butter. The filets came lukewarm, with a block of butter that never melted because the steak lacked any heat- just a cold piece of meat with a firm block of butter on top. Someone in my party ordered the fish in brown butter and it was cool. So disappointed! I hope we had an unusual experience because the food has always been delicious in the past.

Only hiccup was at arrival; female host (African-American young woman) was a bit of a snob—unwelcoming, resistant, arrogant. She needs another like of work.
“Value” is not the best: this s a Brennan restaurant—so, by definition, it’s expensive!

I had the coolinary dinner. The chocolate dessert was fabulous, but I was disappointed at the entre. The fish was too soft, not firm and not very tasty, and the green beans were undercooked. The City Park Salad was not as good as usual--very few apples and too much bacon. I'm a regular and love Ralphs, but I had brought a guest and found the experience disappointing. Our server was wonderful but seemed rushed with many people to serve. I was next to two very loud tables and it was difficult to talk to my guest. I'll be back and hope for a better experience next time.
It was my first time back to Ralph's post pandemic, and my date's first time ever. While we went for the Coolinary Brunch, which can be hit or miss at many establishments, we were truly impressed with our plentiful, yet beautifully presented, and delicious 3 course meals, their inventive takes on classic craft cocktails, and the stellar service the Brennan's group is known for.
Wow! We were passing through and went to brunch with a priest friend of ours. Everything was amazing. It’s been years since we’ve been to City Park and the area has been renovated but the restaurant has a definite New Orleans flare and feels like being in the French quarter. Highly recommend.

We made reservations for our anniversary and notated that during the booking process. We arrived earlier than our reserved time and they sat us anyway. Our table was decorated especially for us and they had custom printed anniversary menus for us that we got to keep as a souvenir. We were treated with complimentary champagne at the end of our meal which was a pleasant surprise. Our food was incredible and the portions were perfectly sized. Our waitress Katie gave us superb service and was so pleasant. The atmosphere and location are a treat as well. We will definitely go back!

If you get the chance to try the Coolinary menu (only until September 5, 2021), please do! Depending on what you go for (i.e., brunch, lunch or dinner), you can get a 2 to 3 course meal at a great price! I opted for the brunch, and it did not disappoint! The turtle soup was great - no flavor dominated over the other. It was just right - definitely not salty or anything like that. The steak & egg hussarde was phenomenal. Steak was cooked perfectly and paired well with the sauce. The Eggs Benedict was amazing, but the star of the show was the house made English muffin for me. I’m a sucker for a good English muffin/biscuit and the likes. It was out of this world. The only thing that I can critique about this dish was the ham. It was a bit dry in my opinion, but also know that ham isn’t really my favorite. So take that as you will. And finally the last course of the meal - milk chocolate mousse. Wow…just wow. It made me want to cry because it was that good. The flavors were well balanced - not overly sweet. Just right for me. The one “bad” thing was the outer hard shell chocolate that you needed to break in order to get to the chocolate mousse (and hidden brownie!). A spoon was not the right tool for the task. It felt like I needed a hammer and a chisel to break through it haha. I just didn’t want to make a huge mess when breaking it because it required some strength. I just ended up biting the whole piece of chocolate as I went rather than trying to break it into smaller pieces. But once you’re able to get through, the mousse is very delightful. The texture of the dense brownie and hard shell chocolate complement the soft and light/airy texture of the mousse and whip cream. The hard shell chocolate also has a bit of a crunch to it (think of the chocolate bar Crunch). Overall, a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely go again to try some of their other items. Hopefully, the ones I saw will still be available because the menu does change - FYI.

Food and service were great. Would definitely recommend for a pleasant meal. However, the noise level in the dining room was quite loud.
Always a special treat to dine at Ralph’s. Food and beverage quality is exceptional and the selection suits all tastes. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable but slow to respond once we finished the meal.
