   Raintree has been a family favorite since the 90's. Their food is always delicious. Beef Wellington is amazing. Consistent food & service. One of the best places in Northeast Florida.

   Enjoy eating a Raintree Restaurant; the food is so good, service is wonderful and I love the atmosphere. The menu has so many enticing items that it is so hard to make a decision on what to order. Deserts are out of this world. My friends and I have made it are go to place to have a great evening out.

   Very nice brunch! Ate outside, and great location under one of the large gazebos; native plants create a fantastic ambiance for outdoor dining experience. Ordered escargot, seafood thermidor and meatloaf: all were excellent, and garnishes including orange and watermelon slices and mini chocolate chip muffin are touches you simply can’t find at other restaurants in this day and age. My personal favorite will always be the escargot: it’s done well with butter and mushroom, and is worth the visit if just on its own. Live in St Augustine locally now after years of vacationing here, and the Raintree is our family’s go-to for Sunday brunch after trying literally everything downtown.

   Disappointing: Our first trip to St Augustine, and we wanted to close with something special. To be honest, my first two choices, Collage and Llama were booked, but based on TripAdvisor and OpenTable reviews, we picked Raintree. I thought it would be fine dining. It was not. A better name would be Raintree Family Restaurant. It’s an attractive restaurant with lots of glass, which gives it a nice, open, feeling. It’s also a very large restaurant, which means the noise level is up there. At my servers recommendation I ordered the 9oz fillet with peppercorn gravy. Medium rare. My wife ordered the 6 oz filet with bleu cheese topping. I upgraded my salad to a Caesar. As an option, I asked for anchovies with my Caesar salad. My salad arrived looking very anemic. Quite small with little dressing or Parmesan cheese. The anchovies were in a side container and were as hard as jerky. My steak arrived, and it was on the well done side of medium. Our server offered to replace it, but since my wife had been served her steak, it would have thrown the timing of the dinner off. It was edible, and I was hungry, so I ate it. The peppercorns completely overpowered whatever flavor the steak might have had, even after scraping off as much as I could. The best think I was served that night, besides the Scotch I started with, was the side of mashed potatoes. Even the peas and carrots came in ahead of the steak. Perhaps some of their other menu items are good, but I would never recommend their steaks.

    I expected alot more for what I was paying to be honest. The lobster bisque was excellent and so was the sauce that came with my veal and shrimp San Marco. For 40 dollars a plate, soup and sauce should not be the best things I tasted. Deserts left alot to be desired, bed pudding was clearly microwaved. Service was very good and friendly, except I explicitly messaged them about it being my girlfriend's birthday and asked if there was anything they could do, birthday candle, anything at all, and nothing was done. Will not be back, unfortunately.

    Nice afternoon dinner in the garden. The prime rib and leg of lamb were cooked to perfection. Our server, Tim, was incredible. Was attentive and knowledgeable. Awesome experience!

    Dinner was wonderful and enjoyed by all. Mainly seafood dishes this time, with a delicious lobster bisque to start, then salads (Raintree & house salads) followed by entrees of tile fish, salmon & tilapia. Desserts enjoyed included bread pudding, creme brûlée & key lime pie. Not a bite of anything remained. Our server, Tim was very professional, personable & attentive. All in all, a very pleasant dining experience.

    What a fabulous experience! The only thing I would say I didn't like was the extra 2% service charge on top of the automatic 15% gratuity. I understand the gratuity due to terrible people that don't tip no matter what. But I didn't understand the other 2%. The food, the service the atmosphere...all top notch!

    Manhattan was served in what looked like a coke glass. Sent back for another glass . Must upgrade your short glasses. Duck was dry in a few areas. This was the second time I experienced this. Service was excellent from greeter to server.

    We dined at Raintree for brunch on Sunday May 21. The seating was prompt and service very good to excellent. I found the food quality to be lacking. Two of our party ordered seafood thermidor. The sauce said to be Mornay was watery and bland. The seafood contained appeared to be chopped up bits of salmon and some stringy pieces of what could be lobster. The entire dish lacked cohesion and flavor and was unattractive. I would never order this again. Another of our party ordered a breakfast dish which included bacon which was swimming in undrained grease. We like your menu and your ambiance and parking facilities. I expect we will be coming again but will hope for a better experience.

    The food was absolutely delicious. The Bruschetta was the best I have ever tasted. The lobster bisque and the Beef Wellington was superb. This was my first visit to Raintree and I can’t wait to go back.

    Damien is a great waiter. Helpful and friendly. He likes his job. Zach was very accommodating, getting us a good table on the porch. This is why we drive 1hr from Orange Park to enjoy dinner at Raintree!

    One of the best restaurants I’ve been to, every item was top notch, incredible beef Wellington, you must get this, incredible lasagna, and the Reese’s cookie is bliss. The mojitos are also sensational. Will most definitely come back. Beautiful ambience.

    Very nice and friendly atmosphere, but the food was just average. I had the garlic mussels over pasta, which was watery and flavorless. My dinner companion had the fish, which was also bland. Our waiter told us that people came for the prime rib or the steak tips, so maybe we selected from the wrong categories. While we like the ambience, we will be looking for more seasoning and flavor the next time we dine out.

    Very fresh review for the Raintree Restaurant on our 40th wedding anniversary. Had a reservation and indicated it was our anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted with “Happy Anniversary”. Seated immediately. Our table had an anniversary card from Raintree. Server Shelby was perfect , friendly and attentive. Food served timely and was cooked perfectly. We had wedge salad and a cesaer salad. Entrees were blue cheese crusted filet, and lobster tail. Cocktails very good. Dessert was a surprise as “Happy Anniversary “ was written on the plate. Very highly recommend for a classy and delicious restaurant experience.
