I was impressed on how everyone working knew the patrons but I was treated as a regular. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Eat outside if you can. Very pleasant

                                                                                                                          Restaurant is in an historic building c. 1879 which creates a nice atmosphere. At the front desk were asked if this was to celebrate a special occasion and were given a handwritten card and our desert was decorated accordingly - a nice touch. Food was excellent and service was first class. Extensive wine list. There is a choice of indoor and outdoor seating.

The food and service are always excellent. The blackened flounder was perfectly cooked and the cappuccino crepe was fanominal.

                                                                                                                          This restaurant is so popular that we had to take a 4:45 seating but we reserved only 24 hours earlier, so glad we got one. First time diners at this establishment. Greeted by several staff upon arrival and promptly seated per our reservation. Friendly and knowledgeable wait staff [Mira] who helped with selections as there were many and it was our first time here. My wife was jealous of my soup bowl compared to her cup so I lost half of my Lobster bisque soup to her. She enjoyed the house salad and dressing. Primary selections were a veal dish and I wanted to try there meatloaf for comparison sake and it passed with flying colors. We had not planned on dessert but at the recommendation of Mira, we tried the banana crepe and we were not disappointed - it was outstanding and, yes, enough for two to split. Great value for the meal. Would highly recommend and will be returning. Also, as it was a lovely evening, noted many sitting outside for drinks and dinner. Excellent parking available which can be a challenge elsewhere in St Augustine.
