A Rich Flavor of a Strip with the Tenderness of a Filet
Old-fashioned steakhouse. Delicious steaks cooked to perfection. Prawn was incredible. Dessert was divine.
Excellent outdoor dining
Good food, good service, great atmosphere. Definitely worth another visit.
Went for New Years Eve. We sat outside on the patio which was beautiful and very romantic. We ordered the escargot which was amazing and would go back just for that. The shrimp cocktail was not good and couldn’t eat. Not sure if it was under cooked but they were just not good. Filet mignon was excellent but I did not enjoy the prime rib. The service was good and they were very nice. The chocolate mousse cake is an excellent dessert. I would return here but I would order seafood next time. Definitely quality but my choices for the evening were not great.
Our table was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed everything from the wine, appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. The escargot with puff pastry was excellently prepared with garlic butter. I had the wedge salad and it had just the right amount of crumbled blue cheese and dressing. The gorgonzola salad was also a winner. For the entree we both had petite filet and lobster tail. Cooked to perfection and very tasty. Dessert was creme brulee and coffee and a great finish to a New Year's eve dinner that we really enjoyed. The pace was relaxing and our server was very attentive. I would love to enjoy another night out here again!
We had not been to Raindancer in several years because they had changed owners and this and that. So, we decided to try again because we can sit outside. The outside was nice and quiet and that I liked. The problem was the food was just not very good and I’m sorry we probably won’t be back.
Great loved the food and the atmosphere service was good
Prices have been raised dramatically. I understand beef has gone up but iced tea and chicken noodle soup?!
The food was amazing! The staff was friendly. We actually had a really loud family next to us with a screaming toddler, and they were playing videos loudly to entertain their kids so we asked to be moved. They were very gracious and understanding about it. We don’t mind kids at all, but for a nice dinner out we look forward to just being us adults.
This restaurant needs to do some major updating - very poor lighting...! It needs to keep up with a modern interiors. DEFINITELY !!!
Food and service was amazing.
We came in for dinner on a Friday night. Was looking for a good steak house. We made reservations on Wednesday. Got in pretty quick. The atmosphere is dark and the pictures in the walls by the tables need some cleaning. Never understood how people can get food in the walls in a restaurant.
We both had the steaks with the garlic mashed. My steak was the Porterhouse and my wife had a 9oz Filet. Both ordered medium. Her steak was a bit charred on the outside.
Mine was cooked perfect. The manager was great. He came over and talked to us and even sent over a complimentary glass of wine. Much appreciated.
While the food and service were exceptional the noise level was much too loud for us. They have a lovely covered patio. That would be much better in the future. My husband and i shared our dinner as neither of us and eat these big dinners any more. The salad was crispy and ample for 2. Tasty rolls were provided at no extra charge. The 14oz strip was perfectly prepared, tender and very tasty ; obviously of top quality. Enough broccoli was served to feed 4. The onion rings were good but I felt over breaded; the aioli sauce was perfect.
Kudos to the best waiter, Mario, who took such good care of us.
We sat on the outside patio and enjoyed our entire evening.
Amazing food and service.
Great steaks done perfectly!!! Not as pretty as some places but a real steak house with everything you need and want.
Scores a big 10 on everything you want in a steakhouse!!
Service was outstanding ! The restaurant was VERY dim and while I appreciate the ambiance I shouldn’t need my phone light to read the menu . Also it was very cold inside … air could have been turned down . We’ve never had a bad meal here and came for the early bird sunset trio menu and our entrees were not good at all ( salmon and steak tips ) every other course was good so I was a little disappointed. I’ll still go back .. just wish this experience had been bit better
Decided to try Raindancer Restaurants sunset menu which was advertised at $20. I ordered the salmon and she ordered a filet which was an additional $10. Their sunset menu showed a price of $25 per couple , but the manager adjusted the price as shown on their web site. The fish was good but very small portion. The filet was good. Its not a bad value but not at $25 per person. I dont know if I will back. No matter where you go its getting too expensive.
Our waiter Dan was phenomenal, very knowledgeable of the menu and temperatures of the beef. Flavourful steaks, delicious wedge salad. Made to perfection cocktails, over-all a very enjoyable meal.
Ribeye steak was full of gristle. Water glasses were not promptly refilled. Sunset menu had to be requested. We have had much better visits in the past.
As always, food and service was spectacular, the ambiance is great…
Food was excellent. Very tender filet. The brussel sprout appetizer was delicious. Ambiance was cozy and great for conversation. Good value. We chose this restaurant as an alternative to louder places on Palm Beach/downtown West Palm. From here it was an easy drive into West Palm for after dinner drinks. Will definitely return.
We are a servers nightmare; a group of 10 ladies who want separate checks! But the staff at Raindancer were wonderful to us especially our server Mario who could not have been friendlier or more efficient. Several of us shared meals and he advised us how to do it to avoid sharing charges. He suggested buying a bottle of wine rather than pay for individual glasses. The wedge salad was covered with delicious blue cheese real bacon chunks and chopped tomato-yummy. My friend and I shared the fillet -cooked to perfection-medium rare with Bernaise sauce; again done correctly smooth and not curdled. The sides are large enough to share. My friends were so impressed they all decided they will return with their families. There is plenty of free parking available and no valet.
This was a last minute plan and we couldn't of been more satisfied. We will be back for sure.
Our waitress chris, was excellent. We weren’t rushed and it was very relaxing. Maybe just a teeny bit too dark but many steak restaurants are like that. Otherwise I love the atmosphere. I haven’t had that good of a steak in ages and the lobster melted in our mouths. Will go back there soon
It's like a trip back to the 60's. Food is well prepared and plated nicely. Music is pleasantly retro as well.
We were celebrating a birthday. Janice at the bar was great very personable. The food was outstanding.
Shrimp was over cooked. Vegetables good
The food was decent the service was slow and could’ve been more attentive
Excellent service and food!
Took my bride here for our anniversary dinner. We were looking for something different rather than the standard corporate formula steak house. Overall, the interior is quiet, welcoming and an a Old Florida establishment feel. Our server, Nancy, was prompt and very pleasant.
We started with appetizers of French onion soup and lobster bisque. The French onion soup was very good with a beautiful cook on the cheese making it visual as well as tastefully executed. The bisque was a little darker in color than expected and somewhat gelatinous. Temperature was lukewarm. We returned the chowder without replacement and our server was very gracious about it.
Salads were a Caesar salad and a wedge salad. Both salads were crisp, cold and tasty. The Caesar was a little heavy on the dressing, but excellent taste. The wedge salad had big chunks of savory bacon and the blue cheese dressing was perfect.
My bride had the filet mignon and I had the cowboy ribeye. These cuts were very generous so bring an appetite! I admit that when it says steakhouse in the name, I expect that part of the meal to be the best. We were not disappointed. Both were a perfect medium rare, perfect amount of char to add to the flavor profile and so tender and juicy! There was a lot of quiet happiness at the table after our initial exclamations of enjoyment. We also got loaded mashed potatoes that came with separate chives and sour cream, but the beef so outshined everything. The potatoes were good, but did I mention the steaks were tasty?
We finished out dinner with a Belgian chocolate mousse cake served on a platter celebrating our anniversary. It was moist, light and despite being very full from the main course, there was not a single bit left!
Overall, we were made to feel genuinely welcome here, it has that feeling of established excellence but not so much that a nice pair of jeans and shirt would feel out of place with others wearing slacks and button downs. Definitely would go again.
Really good food and service. Plenty of staff which seems to be a problem with some restaurants. Went for our Anniversary and would've preferred a booth which were reserved. We'll call about that next time but, not at all a negative on the evening. Can't wait to go back.
Love Raindancer! Great food, service and awesome ambiance. You just don’t find many classic dinner restaurants like this anymore.
Always fantastic food and wine Owner is gracious and charming and Service impeccable
Great food, I’d recommend choosing wine as a pairing.
Excellent food from the salad to the fillet and the desert was decedent
The place looks the same as 25 years ago.
Raindancer is always excellent. High quality service, great wine selection and the steaks and seafood are always prepared perfectly.
Good food and service mice atmosphere.
