El RBL está abierto para el almuerzo, la cena y el brunch dominical y es famoso por su pescado del golfo de México, las carnes de caza, los filetes de res y las chuletas. El atención al detalle del propietario Donnette Hansen se puede ver en cada aspecto, desde el entorno de estilo cabaña y los jardines paisajistas hasta el menú que cambia según la temporada.     From the moment we walked in the door the service and caring was spectacular. The environment is rustic yet sophisticated with fabulous views of the grounds. The food is impeccably prepared and presented. We loved that the entrees are coordinated with sides that perfectly compliment the main course. No need to order several things a la carte for a complete meal. We highly recommend Rainbow Lodge and will place it on our list of favorite places in Houston to dine.

    There were very few people in the restaurant at lunch and it was just gorgeous. Service was prompt and tasty.

    The food was excellent, they have a nice wine list and the service and ambience were really nice. We really enjoyed the game dishes we ordered. Perfectly cooked and excellent seasoning.

    I ordered the Texas Lump Crab Omelette. Presentation was great. The salad that was served with it was delicious. The omelette itself was not tasty. It was literally a lump of crab in the middle with fontina cheese. The crab had no extra seasoning or sauce. The omelette was dry. The egg was over cooked. It did have spinach and mushrooms in the egg but no other seasonings. The Braised beef Benedict was served over Texas toast which was soggy by the time you got it. There is a reason you use English muffins on eggs benedict for the mere purpose of not have soggy bread. The waiter was good. The atmosphere is very nice and elegant. Maybe we just picked the wrong menu items.

    The food was just ok. Definitely not what I would expect. Service was well below expectations. The restaurant was not busy for a Friday night at 7:30pm and the service was not good. We sat for quite some time before our drink order was taken and then we were served the wrong drinks. The salad and appetizer was served at the same time. I would expect better from this type of restaurant.
