The place is nice but not worth the money. It’s not a bar or a restaurant. The menu is very small and can’t hear the music at all. The view is not great.
Overall experience was amazing really enjoyed the time outside with a great view would definitely recommend but in warm weather!
Fantastic views over London, great food and friendly staff. Very enjoyable pre theatre meal and post theatre drinks
This is a form favourite to enjoy London sunsets. I’m looking forward to summer nights too.
Good and we really enjoy the food here and the service is good too
Wow!!! What a fabulous experience from start to finish. We came for two friends birthday, I pre ordered champagne which was ready when we arrived. We then got birthday candles and desert that was to die for.
The view was brilliant, the decor is suburb. I can’t wait to come back, thank you
Fantastic views and super restaurant/bar I would definitely recommend
Lovely greeting from downstairs and when we went in. Waitress appeared a little sharp at first but then was nicer once we'd chatted to her a little. Other waiters lovely. Good food-we chose a few small plates to share which worked well. Good atmosphere. Good views.
You have a table for an hour with a minimum spend of £50 a head but cocktails take an incredible long time to arrive. Overall service was slow, the quality of the place is nowhere near up to the standards of other London rooftop bars and you pay a similar price. Feels like you are hurried in and hurried out. Go to somewhere like the Shard, Sky Garden, or the Gherkin and you’ll have a much more enjoyable evening.
they told us to leave the place after 1.5 hours, they didn't let us stay at the bar, we had to leave the place completely because they have these rules they manger told us , disappointed about this place, it was to be our women's day
Only had drinks. Great location for views across the city. Group made huge amount of noise nearby feeling need to shout loudly at each other. Fair play to the staff who went over and they quietened down, but still a good 20mins before anything was done about it
Lovely place but staff didn’t seem interested or particularly welcoming. We had to call them over to get our first coffee even though it was very quiet. Booked a table for 10.15 for breakfast and were given a 1.5 hour slot. Halfway through eating breakfast they put the bill on the table and apologised but still came back 5 mins later with the machine to ask us to pay as they had to close down the till for the morning. I literally had to put down my cutlery to get out my card. We ended up leaving earlier than anticipated rather than having more coffee on the terrace which we’d intended to do as Friday was a lovely day.
Impressive view and well worth coming for a drink just to enjoy that BUT go elsewhere for food. Menu is uninspiring, the food was luke warm and portions are small, yet comparatively high prices. House wine is good but expensive. All in all pretty poor value for money
The food lacked flavor and wasn't something to shout about. We had our table for an hour and a half, slow service meant we went over and they turned off the lights and heating, so we sat in the cold waiting for dessert. Not great service.
Friendly service, tasty food and lovely setting, really recommend. Slightly decadent for a pre theatre lunch, but a real treat.
Surprised my bestfriend for her belated birthday. Came for drinks, preferred to get a bottle which was £39 as per glass was £10. We also got hummus which came with generous amount of pita bread and veggies. Everything was flawless we had an amazing evening. Definitely would prefer again.
great ambience, food is good but not great. will come back
No idea what the bad reviews are about. Staff friendly, great atmosphere. Amazing food. Felt very welcomed from start to finish. Will be back even though very pricey. It was all worth it
A bit pricey but overall amazing , definitely coming back here soon
Amazing place! Third time now. Love it.
The food, the cocktails and the view are incredible
The worst service, worst food , worst atmosphere..
They were very accommodating and friendly. They offered to move us because there was building works happening. Would definitely return!
Excellent food, wonderful staff, great view good wine.
Proposal Night 💍- Amazing experience 😃😁
I have to start by thanking The reception lady “Samantha” she honestly made this day more special and she took care of everything for the start to finish. So if your ever wanting to purpose at this venue Samantha is the right person you want to get in touch with, her kind personality but also her willingness to do all she can to make your time enjoyable at Radio rooftop bar.
I love the relaxed feel of this place the atmosphere makes you feel very comfortable as well as the staff and it had an romantic touch to it. The views were emphatic and my fiancé enjoyed it a perfect setting for the perfect moment ❤️I definitely would return to try more dishes as the food was refreshing. The table was outside Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable."
Amazing setting, delicious food and the staff just incredible (the Italian girl is fantastic).
Had a amazing time. Food was excellent and the drinks were just as good. The views were second to none. Definitely going back.
We had a great waiter called Richard. He took care of us very well.
The food was good and my Davy was the prawns starter. My club sandwich without the bacon was good. The chicken was slightly dry. The chicken is halal.
The desserts were not very good which is a pity as the evening with the lovely views was very good.
Great food, great atmosphere, amazing service. Highly recommended
AVOID. I've been here maybe 4 times in the last couple of weeks for breakfast. Meant to be a 5 star hotel but when my guest arrived he wasn't shown to the table, just given a vague wave in the general direction. Fortunately it wasn't busy so he found me - wonder why its not busy.
1. They try to charge you twice for service. I fell for this the first time. Service at 12.5% on the bill then asks you to add a tip on the machine. I ended up paying 30% service. When I brought this up with the waiter he said the first 12.5% goes to kitchen staff, the second tip goes to the server. I don't care how the tip is distributed - please just don't con me to a 30% tip especially when the service is awful (see below)
2. I ordered a coffee and orange juice when I arrived, 15 minutes later still no sign. My guests (who arrived 5 mins after me) ordered and their tea arrived. Waiters never came near as they were far too busy laying the empty tables for non existent guests. When I chased 2 coffees arrived within 10 minutes.
3. I thought I'd chance my arm with a second coffee which, yes you guessed it.... never arrived! When the waiter came back - after 15 minutes he said "oh I forgot your coffee, I b think you forgot too". This is the first time I'd been blamed for forgetting my own order. I hadn't forgotten.
4. Tried again to get 30% tip for some of the worst service I've had in a long time
In short, overpriced, awful service but great view.
Very pretty place. I've been this last weekend with a frind of mine . I've found a very comfortable place kind staff and delicious foods. Price are on the average if you want to ahve a good dinenr in London.
I often go to Radio when out in London as I like the busy atmosphere, music and quality of service. They are very controlled as well with the number of people they allow which is great so it's to busy and gives it some exclusivity.
However on this occasion I found the man in control of bookings very rude and dismissive. After we sat down I requested that if a table with sofas becomes available could we please move as we were intending on spending the rest of the evening there.
His response was "No you won't I have 300 bookings this evening you have a 1.5 hour slot then you must leave". I understand a bar like Radio needs to have a turnaround however I was never told that we would have slot that evening until I went and spoke with this gentleman. In the end we did end up staying there the rest of the evening because clearly the 300 other bookings just hadn't turned up.
Overall i recommend Radio however I was disappointed with the service from this employee given when spending over £400.
Had a wonderful time even though it was very cold and windy. Great customer service and cannot fault their food, absolutely amazing!
The food was awful, 3 dried octopus legs with baked beans, no taste, the worst club sandwich I’ve ever had. The beef sliders were ok!
Excellent place.. lovely views. Food is fresh & tasty. Charming Italian girl served us for a pre/dinner bite and a yummy cocktail, one of the House favourites. Her recommendations were spot on. My dad loved it too..
Lovely staff, great service.
There was a very loud table next to us playing tin music from their phones. I asked the hostess to speak to them, not wanting to cause a scene on a first date. She sorted the loud Essex table that lacked any class or appreciation for anyone else's privacy. We were moved to the other side of the restaurant and I got the second date! : )
Very organised staff and a beautiful decor with amazing drinks and great vibes.
Definitely worth going to all year round, as it has a large inside and outside section with heating and blankets if needed. Thank you for your service.
On a date, the place was empty, only about 6 couple. We were shown pass all the empty sofas and tables to a really poor table on a rat run, was not comfortable. The table equivalent of the Berlin wall (date suicide). After about 12 minutes of waiting to be served, the hostess walked another couple to the 18 seater corner sofa. Expecting to be served on her return, we was not. At this stage, I just wanted to go but my date offered to go to the bar, after about 4 minutes, I joined her. We waited another 3 or so minutes while the staff chatted between themselves, there was no one else waiting at the bar and the staff was not making another order. At this point, my date was fed up too. On the return, the couple that was sat near us, in desperateness started to try and order from us, lol. So we were not only ones confused by the complete lack of service.
Alas, we hailed a taxi and headed to OXO where we had a great night.
The service through out the whole meal was shocking. We went to the bar first to have drinks but only one person Serving. By the time we got our drinks we had to go and get our table. They seated us where there was no cutlery or glasses for dinner and no menu. We asked for menu’s and only gave us one. Sat us at a table suited for drinking not eating. We asked to move and was given abrupt answers. So we decided to move ourselves. We ordered our food but they forgot to bring out the sides. The lighting in the restaurant is too dark for eating. We all had the Ribeye steak and it was very fatty. They brought us over churros because they forgot the sides but by that point we was all disappointed. Went to celebrate a birthday which I told them about and no effort was made. Wouldn’t recommend or go back to.
Round the corner from work, but never clocked onto the great views and relaxed ambiance of this place. Tapas was very good - sharing plate ideal for a very light lunch for two, but we augmented with two extra dishes. Wines were a little pricey, but well-chosen as far as I could tell. (Well, our rosé was lovely). But the selling point is the sheltered terraces overlooking the city. Ideal for a light lunch especially with an out-of-towner
Easy to book and on arrival the staff were great. Good table with good views and efficient service.
The food were not big portions, but very tasty.
Loved the experience and will definitely be back.
