Radio Milano’s menu is new, fresh and modern keeping with the trend of using local and sustainable products. With artisan pizzas at lunch and in the Milano Bar, handmade pastas, prime meats and exotic fish and always creative desserts. The menu is brimming with delicious options and is anything but your typical Italian restaurant.
Milano Bar, located directly beneath the restaurant on the first floor of The Moran Hotel, will offer a balance of classic craft cocktails poured by highly trained bar men & women. House made infusions, custom ice and an emphasis on prohibition era whiskey cocktails, Tequila & Mezcal, and esoteric premium scotches provide an approachable yet elevated guest experience.
No flavor to the food. No busy at all so we had amazing service. Wish food was a little hotter and with more taste.
Service was excellent. Food was delicious, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go back based on the price point. Great option if you’re looking for a tasty meal while you’re in City Center.
Food was great. Waitress was lousy. We ordered a bottle of wine, she made initial pour and left bottle on ice next to table. Never refilled as we ate. We had crumbs on table between courses and had to ask her to clean up. We ordered dessert and she didn't ask about coffee. Just not attentive. The bar near the restaurant had live music, but it hadn't started yet so people were playing around on keyboard, banging on drums, singing random out of tune for fun. It make it hard to enjoy dinner with random "warm up?" In the background. It's too bad, very nice design, great food, just poorly managed.
We went for Valentines Day and it was lovely.
Kitchen was a little backed up but it was crowded so understandable.
Good service and very nice ambiance. .
Disappointing. Went for Valentine's Day without knowing there was a limited menu; only offered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 1 dessert; little choice. Steak was tasty but fatty. Scallops were tough. You would think with so few offerings the kitchen could crank the food out fast but service was slow - 2 hours - and we ordered promptly so it wasn't us slowing them down. Kept seeing servers come out with food and then return with the food to the kitchen. Looked disorganized and confused. Will not return.
Unfortunately, the recent change in ownership, management, chef and sommelier have turned this once gem into just another bland hotel restaurant. With maybe one exception (the butternut squash spaghetti), the menu looked like it came from a Holiday Inn. The Butcher Board appetizer looked and tasted straight from Sam's Club. The Salmon was just OK. It seemed like there was only one waiter for the whole place, and he was barely able to keep up. A far cry from the service they used to provide, and not up to the competition surrounding them. I hope they have better plans in store, because if this is all it's going to be it's not worth your time. Sad. Luckily, the bar is still great. Just don't bother with going upstairs to the restaurant. You will have a better meal and experience at any of the half dozen other restaurants in City Center within walking distance.
Just Excellent and delicious 👌 10/10
We went there for brunch and really enjoyed our time there. Place was empty. Thanks to Amber our service was great. Food was good. We would go back again. Bottomless mimosas
It was a very nice and quiet atmosphere. Service was excellent. The meal was delicious.
Menu online wasn’t the same so the items that attracted us to make the reservation weren’t available. Watch the salt.
Service was very good.
The food is great and the restaurant is very elegant! Great place to celebrate my wife's birthday.
First time at Radio Milano and it was exceptional. Free appetizer, thanks to using Open Table- all entrees were delish and the desserts to die for- surprised us with a happy birthday dessert even though we didn’t tell the waiter- he was just very observant and picked it up through conversation . Definitely a 5-star experience . We will definitely return.
Radio Milano is a gem of a restaurant offers an extremely well thought out menu at very reasonable price. The location is excellent and very convenient....and the food is first class. My favorite business lunch venue.
Soup was great but overall pretty standard pasta.
Food and ambiance delivered as expected
We tried this restaurant for Houston Restaurant Week and ate off that menu. We had the mushroom soup, salmon tartare, watermelon salad, beef tenderloin and the seared redfish. Everything was very tasty and I would order each again. Only comment would be, please put more than 1 small piece of watermelon on a salad called "Watermelon Salad". Service was very good and the staff were friendly.
Loved their menu, their wine list, service, the waiters and busboy very nice and clean uniforms, I will definitely go back very soon and take my husband.
We had the salmon tartare, mushroom soup, veal ossobuco, red fish, Panna Cotta.
Went for a date during restaurant week. It was perfect. The staff was the only thing better than the food.
First time there but it won't be the last. Great food, great ambiance, great service. The mango panna cotta is a must have!
The food was excellent. It’s a husband/wife chef team I was told. One of the best dinners I’ve had in Houston and a very good value for Restaurant week
My Tenderloin was delicious and cooked perfectly. The melon gazpacho was unique and refreshing. Vegetables of plantains and baby carrots were wonderful. Desserts were beautiful to look at and delightful to eat.
My wife and I dined here on 8/17/19 for our anniversary. Dim lighting gave the restaurant a romantic setting. Our waitress was a bit slow with service and wasn't very knowledgeable of the menu items. However, she was pleasant and tried her best to accommodate us, so no harm there. The food was good for the price. Overall, it was a nice experience. The service issue, may have just been a fluke. I would give them another try.
Food was absolutely delicious and not a huge crowd so it was nice quiet dinner. Service and staff were on point and attentive. Great place to grab dinner before jamming out next door at the Monnalisa Bar.
The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. This will be a top date night choice from now on. It was the best meal we have had since dining in several Michelin restaurants in France a few months ago.
Perfect for a discreet meeting. Quiet. Remarkably good for how “not busy” the are. A hidden gem. Valet parking is free with validation at the restaurant.
Went for lunch. There were very few people there so it was very quiet. The food was spectacular. The servers were attentive and personable. The location is very picturesque.
Fantastic three course lunch for $20.00 during Houston Restaurant week!
Always a delight. Food is great and the cocktails better.
My husband and I always enjoy our birthday celebrations at Radio Milano. Food is great, waitstaff is awesome and the gift card you get for your birthday is even better when you sign up to be a member of their club.
We arrived at 7:00 on a Friday night and we were the only ones there. Will not return
Great food and service. Will definitely return
I desperately want this place to be great. Mother's Day brunch; all buffet, no regular menu. Small crowd; small buffet. Looked more like a week day hotel buffet (with the inclusion of a carving station). Everything was fine, but nothing was special. Bad experience with hostess earlier in the week demanding (in not so polite terms or voice) a credit card to hold the reservation. Restaurant was half empty when we left after 12 noon. Can only imagine she turned off some patrons. … Overall, an adequate, but in no way special brunch. Fine; but hoped for better.
Went to Easter Brunch, and while the food selection was not as vast as some that I have been to, it was very good.
Service was extremely slow, and the restaurant was not crowded. Our waiter came by our table maybe 4 times during the 90min we were there. Towards the end of our meal another waitress took our dessert order and brought us our bill. This was odd because our waiter was standing by the kitchen during this time. Food was overpriced for the quality that was served. Overall, our experience was below average.
Got there at 8:15 on Friday night. It was noticeably obvious the staff wanted us cleared out by closing time which surprisingly is 10PM even on weekends. Felt a little hurried which is never good from a diner’s perspective.
Food was good not great. Wasn’t expecting exceptional and the food was in line with my expectation.
I treated myself to a solo dining experience at Radio Milano and I felt like I was treated like royalty! The service was exceptional! I appreciated the sommelier being attentive and seemed to genuinely want to help me find the right wine. The food was superb! I had the steak with potatoes au gratin. So delicious. The ambiance here is quiet and romantic. It’s perfect for a date night out or a solo dining experience like I had this particular evening! I highly recommend this place to anyone!
Ambience and service is amazing. Felt bad for server bc food was poor. No flavor in pasta and watery tasting ravioli. Server did great to make up for it but the food was a letdown.
This was a wonderful culinary experience. We ate multiple things on the menu and EVERYTHING was perfect, including drinks.
This is the place where you can have a conversation. The noise level is very low, still music plays in the background. Courteous staff. Very nice.
