                                                                                                      This is a beautiful place with excellent service and excellent food. The menu is small so our group had everything but the foie gras and lobster dishes (the price of the lobster dishes were outrageously high). Everything we had was outstanding. Service was impeccable.

                                                                                                      La nourriture était bonne. Le café était proposé dans des cafetières individuelles. On ne nous a pas demandé si nous souhaitions obtenir un café au lait,latté ou autre, on a plutôt pris pour acquis qu'on prendrait le café de base corsé et tiède. Pm a eu la gentillesse de prendre une photo de nous - mon invité et moi. Les sandwichs sans croûte étaient très secs et sans saveurs particulière. Les autres bouchées étaient très bonnes. Il faisait chaud dans le salon, même si les stores étaient fermés. Nous avons par la suite demandé de l'eau chaude et du thé. On nous a apporté les 2 nouvelles carafes sans retirer les 2 carafes de café individuelles. Aucune nouvelle tasse non plus. Nous avons dû verser le vieux café dans une cafetière individuelles et rincer nos tasses avec l'eau chaude pour retirer le café corsé dans nos tasses initiales. Le serveur voyait la situation et n'a aucunement tenté de nous aider. Il nous a servi en anglais tout le long alors qu'il parlait français... C'est une facture extrêmement salée pour le manque d'attention aux détails qui selon nous concernent la base du bien être d'un client. L'accueil à l'entrée est personnalisée et vraiment agréable. Voilà qui détonne un peu avec le reste du service. Nous allons sûrement célébrer cet anniversaire à un autre endroit l'an prochain vu ces détails surprenants, voir gênant - moi qui ne tarissait pas d'éloges quant à ce moment magique du Affternoon tea...

Its my first time back after the renovations and i thought it was gorgeous, modern with a touch of classic elegance. Food was excellent and so were the drinks. It was a lovely way to pass the afternoon downtown.
