Zocalo has now integrated ordering at table for our guests. We have a QR code at every table for the guest to scan and place their order. As always we want our guest to experience the true Mexican hospitality we are know for! The server is still around to attend to any needs or questions you may have! As a thank you we are giving our guests who use the menu a free appetizer! Simply let your server know once you have placed your order!

Was told about QR code for the menu, but didn't mention that you had to order via app. Sat for about 20 mins before anyone asked us a question, thankfully they delivered water, chips and dip, so we weren't getting hangry. Once we ordered, the food came out fast, but our drinks never arrived. We flagged a server down and asked about our drinks and he said he would get them, but they never came. We had them remove them from our bill. I won't be going back anytime soon, if ever.
There’s no designated server. We probably sat there waiting for someone to give us utensils, water just basic things we can’t order on the app. We had to flag someone down every time we needed a water refill or more chips. I appreciate the no contact ordering but the customer service has gone down. Not worth dining in

Food was great. Outdoor dining was comfortable and safe. Wait person was terrific but they have established an online ordering system that is not easy to navigate, and took our wait person more time to explain than if she had taken our order. More drinks arrived than we thought we ordered, food came out sporadically, etc. We will go back..... food and atmosphere was great but they need to abandon the ridiculous ordering system.
We had such a good time here the food was delicious... I would usually go to a more authentic Mexican restaurant hole in the wall taqueria but the food was really excellent hot and flavorful. We were sat on time and our server Tim was excellent treated us like VIP thank you Tim ❤️
My friend and I enjoyed our evening catching up at Zocalo's. Mango margaritas were super yummy! Food was amazing!
If it is raining or cold they need to put more heaters on. They also should tell the customers when they walk in how to order. My father is 80 and had no idea where his menu was or how to order from his phone.
Not one person checked in once with me. I didn't get my drink until I got my food. It was a horrible experience.

I’ve been to a few Zocalo locations, and this one was by far my least favorite. I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day, the look and vibe of the outdoor seating was good overall, however my experience was terrible. We were promptly seated, and someone came by and dropped off waters- we were never greeted by a server, ordered through the online menu which was great, except for the fact that our food came first, then our appetizer, then our drinks? Not sure why when we ordered the drinks way before everything else... I mentioned it and no one seemed to care, just sort of acted like “not my problem” food quality was not as good as other locations I’ve been to, I felt a bit sick a couple hours after dinner, and the service was terrible- still not sure who was supposed to be my server that night, someone different brought each item to the table and no one asked how anything was at all. wouldn’t go back
Large outside area for dining with heaters. Used QR code for menu , ordering, and payment limiting contact with service staff. Overall, very safe and enjoyable experience.

Everything waz amazing as usual my favourite is the baja fish tacos they are the best! If I had to say one thing is I wish that water had ice in it came room temperature
The food could be better. I tried Baja Fish tacos. The tacos were too dry and one of them was raw. Zocalo sacramento is much much better.

Wow. Nobody really comes to check on you, see if you need water, or see if your food is ok.
Everything had to be done over their app on your smart phone. It was so confusing. I do not recommend.
We would love zocalo if we didn’t get a stomach ache or the runs after every time eating there. Seems like they need to practice cleaner cooking in the kitchen.

I love going to Zocolo. Always a great meal. This time I had their Salmon bowl. A tasty and healthy treat. They have a new way to order in which your order goes straight from your phone to the kitchen. Great meal, amazing food, and can't beat the ambiance. Love it!
The drinks were good. Patio is beautiful and warm for outside COVID dining!!! Service staff friendly and helpful....however all ordering had to be done digitally on your phone. These lead to an anti social start to our gathering. Hard to view menu and make decision while on your phone. And at the end when we paid we were told we could not split our bill! Big bummer. Lastly the food was just okay especially for their price point for Mexican food!
The food was not good at all. Never return to this restaurant again.
I was not impressed with the fact that we were hardly ever checked on. I had to ask for my drink & refill. I had to flag someone down to get to go boxes. The food was great and initial contact was good as well

First time customer with my family. We made reservations and got an outdoor table no issues.
The food was good and we all got tacos Their ordering process/app was painful ! I had to do all the work in a restaurant , they just walked out dishes. It was as if the servers were hiding inside,?!

Whether we are on a date night, dining with friends or with our kids, the service and food is always consistent, quick and delish!
Great for an early weekday Happy Hour. It was a rather chilly day so there weren't many tables taken.
It was nice to be out at a restaurant, but also feel safe. It was nice.
Extremely disappointed with managements decision on how the restaurant will/is functioning during Covid. The lack of service staff is evident and creates a horrible dining experience for patrons and puts heavy stress on the service staff. The online menu is not convenient nor is the “self ordering” from said online menu. Management needs to understand what patrons want when dining out during Covid and that is top notch dining service, as Zocalo once had, regardless of Covid restrictions. Step out of your current operations model and consider what other restaurants have been doing during Covid. Give your customers menus, have your service staff take their orders, and get back to the hospital atmosphere once provided. If management continues to operate with such little consideration for customers and staff, I do not see Zocalo sticking around. We will not return and that’s unfortunate considering this used to be one of our favorite go to spots.
Was hoping to have my favorite dish, the salmon with spinach and mango but it wasn’t on the menu.
Zocalo does a fantastic job accommodating our gluten-free diet, and the food is always delicious.
COVID cautious. First time out after stay at home order lifted- especially liked that it was proper outdoor dining (permanent structure) not makeshift. Great food. Great ambiance. My new go to.

No service at all, you do everything yourself. Also, if u need something to eat with or wipe your mouth, you’ll need to flag down someone. We use to love this place, won’t go back now.
