Beautiful space and great menu. Service was also very good with kind servers. Latkes were a bit of a disappointment if you're familiar with them -- too dense and thick. But otherwise everything else we tried was good.
Tremendously atmospheric, great service even though some of my guests were late.
They gave us the wrong order for one of our meals so my sisters food went cold while i waited for mine to arrive. We also asked for a pickle plate and got chips instead which we were charged for but nobody ordered!
There was no real apology and we weren't offered anything. Not impressed!
I would rec. a friend however watch the price of the wine and small burger and fries
Wow factor for the venue , went at lunchtime when it was heaving .We got a table which I had reserved.
Food was not so good, burnt challah toast in the turkey club sandwich which looked like packet stuff
Vanilla sundae had no meringue in it as advertised
Chips, salad all extra came to 68 pounds for two with only a bottle of water for indifferent and slapdash food
Bloody delicious as always
Lovely venue, the food was delicious and the service was very good. The Ned food lobby is a very grand environment to eat in but is not stuffy or pretentious. Would definitely go again
Beautiful building and elegant setting. Excellent service. Brunch was delicious, dessert a bit of a let down.
I love this place. The food was outstanding and the mimosas were so good. Only complaint is for the first 30 mins the waiter wasn’t quick to refill for the bottomless mimosas and we had to ask twice. Second waitress who took over was much better!
My partner and I arrived at the Resturant 30 minutes before our reservation time. However, the waitress mentioned that it was fine and could sit us at our table.
We waited 45minutes to be served, and with that I had to get a waiter’s attention.
The starters were nice and tasted fresh. But the Main course’s tasted stale. The hot dog tasted fake. I respect the quality of food was poor.
Lovely building - former bank, so high vaulted ceilings and pillars.
The Ned has a number of restaurants within but the menus are very limited and not very exciting as you would expect from such an establishment. The venue is more suited for group drinks and snacks than a full blown meal.
Good food. Excellent attentive service. Great atmosphere and luxurious surroundings.
Good food great service thankyou
Love everything about this place! Will be back for sure. A firm favourite.
Ambiance was great, food was great. Would definitely recommend to friends. Hope to return!
Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. The waiter was very friendly and polite. We enjoyed a lovely evening with delicious food.
Excellent service. Delicious food at a reasonable price for central London. Would highly recommend
Everything was very nice.
Food was very tasty .
We both ordered spicy honey fried chicken.
The taste was perfect,,,,,, but the chicken portion was full of wings (never seen a chicken with 5 wings before), one thigh? and and some ribs ? No chicken breast at all.
A plate full of bones .
Really difficult to handle bones with a fork and knife.
Disappointing plate for such a good restaurant.
Everything else was perfect. thanks
Sadly slightly chaotic at the start of the day and potentially a victim of its own success - not enough staff to provide the service expected for the price you pay.
Very POOR Lunch! Restaurant was like a Zoo awful service!! Waitress forgot to put our order in!! Would never go back again!!
cavernous restaurant, great breakfasts, good staff. One thing though, not sure if there were more tables in there than usual, but the staff couldn't get passed without kicking our chairs constantly every time they went to the next table. A bit more space would be nice,
Amazing atmosphere, great food, could have stayed for hours! Loved it!
it took almost 10 minutes to get anyone to come and take our order. The ratio of WAITING STAFF to GUESTS is very low.... I counted around 100 people and only visibly 3 people actively serving.
Went for Saturday brunch, was repeatedly overlooked by the wait staff.
Ordered the full english in anticipation of the cholent. Only to find it was in fact baked beans with a piece of hot dog sausage in it. When queried, the waitress had no idea what cholent was.
Everything else was nice but this was hugely disappointing.
Tasty food, great service, did not disappoint. I had the single cheese burger again and the pastrami fries and loved it
The management were exceptionally accommodating when our party turned up with three more people than we had booked for and are to be greatly commended
Very noisy, busy atmosphere but good, friendly service and the best pastrami on rye outside of NYC. Be sure to book and use the side entrance for quickest access. Do not be late. Bloody Mary is good too.
We had a breakfast there, they offer a number of different options, staff was generally friendly and welcoming, nice area at the Ned, not too noisy.
Helpful staff & food quality was even better than last time
The food and atmosphere are great, but I was a bit disappointed that we were asked for the table back after an hour, even though I had reserved.
Amazing building, reminded me a bit of the Bank in Mary Poppins. The place was busy but you could still hear one another pretty well. The breakfast menu was nice but limited.
There didn‘t seem to be any communication between the waiting staff - we got asked multiple times if we wanted to take our order, if we were ok, and someone took our bill, didn‘t come with it and we then had to ask someone else. It was a bit haphazard on that front! Otherwise, good.
Really smooth and delicious food!
Poor service, waitress was extremely rude and very slow. Would put me off returning.
Brilliant bottomless mimosa brunch. Amazing value and they topped up our glass every time it got to half empty.
Food great value and delicious. Staff friendly and lovely atmosphere.
I wasn’t aware this is a Kosher place and find it very weird that pork was not part of the menu (even the bacon was from pastrami). After a friend told me all The Ned concept is kosher it made sense. My mistake, as I should have know better.
Yet, food was plain and boring. Desserts were also not nice.
I was very glad Borough market was just minutes away....
Nice ambience, food adequate for the aspiration, service could pay some more attention (not well trained, but friendly)
As our table was not ready, there was an issue finding somewhere to stand. Twice we were asked to move by a waiter as we were in the way. The problem was, there was no where not to be in the way. Food was great, service was quick and it had a great atmosphere.
The food was over cocked and look liked it was slaped together.
Not much of a choice, service was ok untill the waiter rudly went to snach the bill from my hand wile I was still sorting out my cash.
Wouldent go back personally if I did it would be only to try the Sunday roast as I have herd nice things about that but service I got in this restaurant wasn’t of the high standered I exspeted.
Great place, lots buzz and choice of food. However service was a bit strange... 30 sec after sitting down a waiter asked if we want to order food. Perhaps drinks first? Waiting for food was long considering quite simple dishes. Also, sides arrived 10 min after food and chips were dangerously hot. Food was great, but service/timing spoiled the experience.
