Zinqué - San Diego
L'aperitif Happy Hour - $5 Off all cocktails
$5 Off all cocktails
$4 Off all wines
Zinque is super cute and has a great variety food! So far I've tried their brunch and dinner menu and have not been disappointed. Their staff was very helpful and provided excellent customer service. Definitely eating here again!
The drinks were really good but basically all ice, when you took the large ice cube out the drink was less than half full, so I would definitely say overpriced for the amount of alcohol you are actually getting, but they did taste good
We loved this restaurant! They did a wonderful job social distancing guests and employees all while making us feel like we had servers dedicated to our needs. The burrata was amazing! The rotisserie chicken was so moist and perfectly cooked. Not only did we get the fire place turned on for us but we were also given blankets to get cozy.
Food was good. Service was mediocre. Love the ambiance. I would return to try different menu items.
Good food and good service. Would definitely go back!
Great drinks! Great service! Love the flat breads.
exceeded expectations. dinner and the service was amazing. my wife and i will be back for sure.
Casey was very attentive and friendly. She made recommendations which we chose. The pesto ahi was beyond tasty. Will definitely come back for this. We went for a leisurely Sunday lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
We had such a good time! The food was awesome, and the service was great!
Great atmosphere and ambiance. There are a lot of drink and food options and great service. The food is a bit pricey for the quality, but overall it was a good experience.
It was everything I expected and more!
Was our first time and we really enjoyed the experience. Service was great, great recommendations. Very relax and pleasant ambiance.
Hi Pierre! It makes me so happy you enjoyed yourself. :) We're working very hard on providing great quality service so your awesome time with us makes me so happy! We hope to see you soon. Management
Tuna tartine was amazing!!
Great food, service and drinks
Amazing! We had a great server and the ambiance/food was dreamy!
Our first time venturing out for dinner in some time. We had great service. We were there during happy hour which was awesome and the food was great!!
While the service was very good, the food was not. Small portions left us hungry when we left. So many good restaurants in San Diego so we not be returning.
Great place for shared plates! All the food was delicious and the service was outstanding also :)
Very understanding and helpful with new post-quarantine rules. Our waiter was amazing!
We had a lovely meal accompanied by fantastic, well-curated wine selections and excellent service.
Our waiter was great - so accommodating and attentive without being annoying. The regular bread (ask for it) was delicious. My salad with avocado, tomato and comte cheese topped with perfectly grilled salmon was excellent. I did ask for dressing on the side. It came on the salad and on the side. They were out of the cab I wanted and my husband’s choice of beer but what we got was good enough. My husband had a Cobb salad and it was really good. Fun!
Friendly staff, quick service, pleasant atmosphere, fresh food
Food was great. Corkage was a bit overpriced. $30. Service was excellent. I'd go back.
Excellent service and drinks. Everything else was so so...
Nice blend of different regions cuisine, not too French, some Meditteranean in the mix , even Italian seeks it's way in there a bit...Overall lovely experience.
Flatbread came out wet and cold. Food was very salty.
Loved the food and the waitress made it special for my partner and I. Tartines were great as was my steak that was cooked perfectly medium rare. We’ll make it a regular stop
Went here late on a Sunday. Loved that it was away from the Little Italy madness (you can ACTUALLY find parking nearby). I strongly recommend “Le bowl”. It’s healthy and delicious. The waitress was very delightful.
What a pleasant surprise - we loved our dinner experience - great service, wonderful beer, awesome Happy Hour and beyond selections - the tuna tartare was out of this world as was the mushroom flatbread and the little sausages and my burger one of the best in a long time - would definitely go back ...
Best new restaurant in Little Italy!
The Salmon dish is incredible. So much flavor.
The whole menu is very well priced, including the extensive wine list. Lots of French and Italian wines are reasonable prices.
Will be back for brunch as I heard it is amazing.
Wish I lived in Little Italy.
After reading the reviews we decided to dine at Zinque with a group of 5 friends. That was the best decision.
I think we tried most of their dishes and none disappointed.
The wine list is exceptional, so different than anything else in San Diego. Huge selection of wine by the glass and exceptionally priced. Will have to come back for the HH as they have $4 off all glasses of wine!
The space is beautiful and the service was very friendly.
So delicious. We had the branding and the moules-frites.
The quality of the food is unbelievable, especially at those prices. Much better and fresher food than all the other restaurants in Little Italy.
Happy Hour is AMAZING!
$5 Off all cocktails, wow! The food is great too. New favorite restaurant in San Diego
Food was awful! Nothing about it was good, dry- flavorless
Service was nice but incredibly slow. Maybe it was an off night, but my steak came out very rare and everything just took a very long time. Maybe would try again when they are less busy.
Poilane bread flown in from Paris in the Tartines. Overall, very good quality
Went there during San Diego restaurant week. The location in Little Italy is lively and this restaurant fits that vibe. My wife and I started with cocktails, she had a La Mande (spicy tequila? drink), and I had a glass of sangria. We shared a salad and flatbread, both of which were pretty basic. By basic, I want to be clear--the items were freshly prepared with tasty ingredients, but the dishes were not particularly creative.
For our entrees, I opted for the mussels & fries, my wife chose the steak & fries. Again, the preparation was tasty but not particularly creative. It occurred to us after my wife's plate arrived that the waiter hadn't asked about my wife's preferred steak temperature. While we generally prefer medium rare, the steak was prepared more rare than our liking. Cheerfully, the server took it back and cooked it a little longer.
Dessert was the highlight of the dinner. I had the fruit crumble, a warm berry preparation covered with a sweetened crumble topped with vanilla ice cream. It was excellent. My wife ordered the cheese plate.
In all, our experience was a positive one. The menu is familiar and the dishes are prepared well. There is a nice variety of cocktails, beers and wines. The ambience is upscale yet comfortable and accessible. This is the kind of place I would recommended for my Millennial /Gen Z family members.
Food was great, atmosphere was excellent. I would definitely go back again.
Slow service. Mediocre food.
