Service, ambiance, and cocktails were 10/10. The food however did not hit home, the steaks came out super well done and salty, the shareable mussels were unseasoned, and the sauce on the pasta was broken. Overall: come for drinks but dinner can be had elsewhere.

Food quality went significantly down. They re famous for skinny french fries. Didn’t have those so served us under cooked horrible fries. Everything we usually eat was jusy poorly made and burata was not burata. Not even sure what that was. No management on site. Just sad to see it from my favorite place to this today

this restaurant location hasn’t updated their hours in OVER A YEAR, constantly keep coming bc open door says it’s open and google says the same and it’s always closed. Post it on the wall at LEAST.

4 of us 4 lunch. Nothing special about the food or place. Adjacent table had Siberian Husky that periodically howled. Not a service dog. No reason to return as Little Italy restaurants close by & better.

Yesterday, we checked out Zinqué for our first time for brunch. We brought our dog, Tigger, and sat outside in the patio. We ordered the prosciutto & gruyere croissant sandwich, moules-frites, and grilled whole branzino to share. Everything we ordered was so delicious and amazing. To top it off, we had the best dining experience thanks to Sean’s fantastic service. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in San Diego. Thank you so very much, Sean!

We’ve been here numerous times but tonight our service was bad. We had to flag down our server numerous times. Our food came out too quickly and one entree came out when the rest of us were almost done eating. Mind you the restaurant was not busy at all!

It’s a very relaxed vibe in there. Food is fresh healthy. And the service was impeccable. Sean was friendly, attentive and made it a point to remember our names everytime he would come to check on us. I highly recommend, I will be back.

Great location and a variety of menu options for everyone. Thanks to the host and wait staff for a lovely first visit. Parking is a challenge though. I recommend using the valet parking one block away. Only $12. Worth it.

The food here is excellent! I had the quinoa salad with added grilled salmon and it was so delicious. Two of us got coq au vin and they said it was outstanding. The artichoke appetizer is delicious and unique. We also had the apple tartin and berry compote for desserts and they were unbelievable! To me, it’s an expensive restaurant for the size of the portions but everything was excellent so it was worth it.

Food quality was amazing but service was slow there’s only two waiters taking care of the whole restaurant, plus the wait time between the main dish and appetizers is too long, no bread basket, just a bunch of bottles of water. For example i ordered two sides of french fries and one side of grilled veggies with my 3 branzino main course, we only got one french fries at the very beginning then 25-30 minutes later comes the fish, and the other two sides were not served. When you see a waiter, wearing a bunch of hats and serving the whole place, where you have to wait for him to ask for things you’ll just give up and call it a day This place has great potential investing in more labor is Key

Bad service. I know it was busy and we happily tipped the waitress but had nothing but attitude. Wasn’t respectful whatsoever and the food was very subpar. Got coffee and it was cold.

Server was indifferent and non-attentive.Food was great, the table was dirty when we arrived and the server seemed annoyed and acted slowly when we pointed out the dirty table. He came over to take our order, then came over again 15 minutes later attempting to take our order again because he had forgot to ever put the order in. Food was great though! But value went down greatly due to service

I've eaten at zinque once before and it was fantastic so I was excited to go again. We went on a Sunday night and it was just the weirdest dining experience ever. None of the food came out together everything came out in some sort of odd sequential order. My waiter didn't know a whole branzino wasn't deboned. It was just weird. I feel compelled to give them another shot because my 1st experience was so good but it will be for lunch.

Our bartender saved the night. Host didn't know the hours for the kitchen. Waitress was brisk, annoying and rude. Told us we had ten minutes to order and this was 2 mintes of being seated! What's the point in making a reservation if there is NO kitchen!!! If it wasn't for Brian (bar keep) we would have walked out of there no questions asked. After everything, we were able to try a few dishes but it wasn't worth the hastle. Would not visit the establishment again. Pricey place for garbage service isn't worth anyone's time or money.

The restaurant has a very nice ambience, but it can get a little loud if it's busy. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Madison was our server and we liked her a lot! The food was decently priced and tasted great! We ordered the beef carpaccio, ratatouille, and garganelli aux morilles. The ratatouille's vegetable chunks were thicker than I liked, but that is my personal preference. The carpaccio and garganelli aux morilles were wonderful and I would definitely order them again!

I love this place! It’s excellent simple food! Service is always fantastic, I’ve been many times and every wait staff is always on top of it, pleasant, accommodating, and we have a very nice time. Highly recommend!

Our waitress was very unfriendly. None of the brunch dishes come with any sides. The prices seem fair, until you see how little food you get. We will definitely NOT be back. There are so many restaurants in the area. Go somewhere else.
