    There was one server for all tables. It took one hour to get our food. The ceiling fans were on high even though there was a strong wind. We were charged $11.00 for tap water.

    The mahi mahi was so spicy I could barley survive it and I like spicy food.. also no other flavors on it but spicy. The food and drinks took forever and we were only 1 of 3 couples there. Sorry hate to do bad reviews but this is a no go

    Not what I expected first off the hostess dis not or could not find our reservation .. the team was a beach bbq with band etc. not what I was looking foe and not explained when I made resi. We left and did not dine there .. fount I will ever try again .

    The restaurant is a shell of its former self. It’s now no more than an extension of the bar and serves a very limited apps & bar food menu. This was one of our favorite places to have dinner and given the changes they’ve made to it since 2020, the poor condition of the tables on the deck and in semi enclosed dinning area and the lack of wait staff we won’t be going back.

    Went for NYE experience…the music was terrible. The band played for about 3 hours and it was not ideal for that long. DJ came at 10 but music was old school. People were literally falling asleep. Bonfire was not that big. It started to get a little better at 11:30 and the fireworks were nice. But this party was really underwhelming. $145/person for the buffet was too much. And extra drinks cost around $100.

    They were hosting a DJ night on beach. Buffet was the only option. Was way overpriced. Couldn’t hear anything because speakers/DJ was so loud.

    Overall: food and area was nice. Service and drunk people..not so much fun. Went for the beach BBQ & bonfire dinner. Beautiful area by the bar for waiting. Had a lovely couch and fire pit. Sat down and placed a drink order to which the waiter forgot. Took a long time to get them reordered as large groups came in behind us. Food was amazing. And the local live band was nice. However, that large party was obnoxious and what was to be a nice evening turned into drunk karaoke. Wished the band would’ve stuck to local flair and not allowed drunk people to sing.

    This place is not open for dinner except during their bbq night. We arrived for our reservation that was Thursday and it wasn’t open. Super disappointed that they let us make a reservation (2 months ago) and no one even called or emailed to cancel it!!! Do not book!!

    We dined at Zest! on a Saturday went they had a beach bbq buffet. That definitely plays into this review as we made the reservation thinking it was the regular menu. That’s on us. While the beach BBQ was good- there was pulled pork, chicken, brisket, and sides- unfortunately the price tag was outrageous. We are a family of 4, & the price was over $350. (No alcohol.) The food was good- was it amazing? No. It was not worth that price to us. We ate at Coco Bistro for about $100 more to give your perspective.) Now the service- stellar! Above & beyond. One of my daughters is a vegetarian. They made her a vegetarian curry (she ate several on the island through tout our stay) & she loved this one. It was really nice of them to accommodate her (again- we booked through OpenTable, so we didn’t know about the BBQ- that’s on us. The restaurant was great to make that for her & I greatly appreciate it. Everyone we encountered was smiling & joyful- everything that embodies TCI! There was a live band, & bonfire as well. Amazing ambiance which is most likely why the price tag was what it was. While the food was ok, everything else made this an amazing dinner.

    Beautiful venue, sat right on the deck, beachside. Live music with steel drums was very good. Service attentive and reasonably responsive. Pizzas were actually quite good. $28 dollar hamburger was fair as was the chicken sandwich. Pork dumplings were very mediocre and they managed to make a grill cheese fairly poorly. All and all our party of 6 had a good time.

    We had a really nice meal right on the beach at Zest. The service was good and the view of the sunset was beautiful. The four of us shared a pizza for an appetizer and then each ordered skewers for dinner which were very good. Like all restaurants in Turks and Caicos, the food and drinks were pricey ($21 for a pizza, $17 for a glass of wine) but overall we had a great experience at Zest that was worth the price.

    The resort has a wonderful feeling of romance stemming from the beauty, elegance, pool design , ocean and the cleanliness of the resort. The people are very friendly and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed eating from the outdoor grill which made the entire area smell appetizing. My only complaints were ordering prawns as a main course and receiving a few small shrimp instead. Also, having to pay so much for an incorrect meal. Otherwise, it was an evening we will hold dearly in our hearts.

    This was by far our worst dinner on TCI. The service was terrible - slow, with our waiter constantly disappearing for long periods of time. Complete lack of any attempt at providing us some attention. However, the food was even worse! Appetizers were hit or miss (dumplings were good, but the tuna tataki salad was a joke). The main courses (salmon and bronzino) were so completely overcooked that they were not edible. When the restaurant manager asked how everything was and I told him, he just shrugged and moved on, though we the restaurant did provide our dessert at no charge ($13 value). When we were checking out of the hotel and asked how everything was, I raised the experience with Zest and the Assistant Manager (Andrew) had the Zest main course charges taken off my bill, so kudos to Wymara to making it right at the end.

    Due to safety, I can understand serving cocktails near a pool in plastic. But, when water is served in glass and then expensive champagne and fine 18 year scotch is served in cheap scratched up plastic cups at the resort’s restaurant, a foul deserves to be called out! They should know better. In fairness, the manager was attentive after this was pointed out and he took the drinks off our tab.

    I arrived to find that my reservation had been made and accepted for 9:00 for a sit down dinner. However, upon arrival I was told they were serving a buffet that ended at 9:30. After much of the commotion and confusion I was seated at 9:23 and prompted to eat within 7 minutes. The staff was apologetic but this was not how I intended to bring in my birthday.

    This is basically just a pizza joint. Nice open air atmosphere just off the beach, but limited menu and the pizza is ehh.

    Zest! was highly recommended in an article I read, so we tried it this past week. The first problem was that it showed Zest! to be in the Gansevort Resort. We had no idea that the name had changed to Wymara (same owners, new name), so it took us a bit to find the restaurant. Walking in was lovely, the resort is beautiful at night. We walked down towards the water and chose a table near the beach. When we first sat down (a large group), we didn't really notice that the walkway was tilted. After sitting this way for a while, it becomes annoying. It took a while to order and get our drinks (which were VERY sweet, but I guess that's not their fault). Appetizers, the shrimp tempura and dumplings, were good. We ordered dinners and some of the food came very overcooked. The food was decent, but nothing to write home about, especially at such a supposedly exclusive resort. The other restaurant, Steele, apparently is the fine dining alternative. Don't get me wrong, you will not regret going here, but if you're expecting an amazing experience, I would try elsewhere.

    We had reservations at the outdoor restaurant Zest for 4 to celebrate a 60th birthday and when we arrived we were informed that on Saturday evenings there was only a fixed price Caribbean barbecue available. After looking at the fixed menu, we concluded it was not what we were looking for or had been expecting. We chose instead to relocate to another restaurant on the property, Stella, in order to have access to a full menu. The setting at Stella was far less appealing than Zest and the food was average at best. We’ve had wonderful meals at Zest in the past and were disappointed not to have been informed, at the time of our reservations, of the the very limited menu on Saturday evenings.

    This place was amazing!! Atmosphere, service, and food. The best place we have been to so far this vacation. Other places have had high prices but not quality food at all. Zest exceeded our expectations on all fronts. We ordered the radicchio salad with grilled pineapple, grapefruit and tomatoes, delicious. We also ordered the wild salmon with asparagus and pineapple salsa. For dessert we had the coconut cream tart which came with a pistachio cookie and a scoop of strawberry ice cream. The flavors blended very well together. If you are going to get out for a nice dinner, this is a must!! Great for a date, special occasion but also everyday dining too!

    OpenTable offered reservations for 6pm, yet the kitchen was closed until 7pm. OpenTable showed the Saturday buffet menu as $49....and the restaurant charged us $75!
