Absolutely wonderful! The food is inventive and creative. Each dish was a work of art of your plate. The service was fabulous. They were extremely knowledgeable about the entire menu. The dining room is quaint yet elegantly decorated. It wasn’t just dinner. It was a culinary experience.

Arrive early and have a cocktail on the lovely upstairs balcony. Then be prepared for an outstanding meal. One of best ever! Fixed price 5 or 3 course menus only, $55, $135, $195 with wine pairings.

This was the absolute worst restaurant I have ever been to. They literally called 7 times to confirm my reservation, they canceled the reservation “by mistake “ and I had to call again. Once there, I was informed we were 15 minuets early, I said no problem we will have a glass of wine at the bar. We were then rushed to our table after ordering our wine.
The beet salad was served in large chunks and very hard, the venison was served raw and when asked to have it cooked a bit more it was so over cooked you couldn’t eat it.
The hostess came over and apologized as the waiter never returned. She did remove the entree from the bill, but we weren’t even offer d dessert. Horrible experience

AMAZING! My husband and I consider ourselves as novice foodies and we were blown away. The menu did not include words you had to google ;) The chef did not try to hard. He tried just hard enough. Everything was executed perfectly. If we lived in Charleston we would be back soon!

We enjoyed the restaurant. However, I find the small tastings from the chef not to my liking. I believe it is quite overpriced for a selection of food that is just ok. It is a great place to grab a meal before a show at the Gaillard. I think the chef and staff do an incredible working in a kitchen that resembles my first apartments (hot plate and broiler oven).

Zero George has a wonderful intimate atmosphere. When researching we found that zero George was run by and award-winning chef . The food was unique inventive and delicious . As I travel for frequently business and take clients out ofter, I found this to be among one of top in the country.
Yet this meal was extra special as it was attended by my 82-year-old mother my wonderful wife in my step father

The creations of the chef at Zero are outstanding in flavor, inventiveness, preparation, presentation and overall quality. The tasting menu (Omnivore) was fabulous from the four appetizers to the five courses which followed. I have not experienced as varied and well executed food since I dined at the French Laundry in 2013. The specialty cocktails were interesting and well executed. The servers were top-shelf, informative and professional. My wife and I had an outstanding experience.

The food at Zero George is creative and delicious and the presentation is beautiful! We enjoyed every single course and tried wines that aren't usually on our radar. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Be aware that the dining room is very small. Dinner here is exquisite and perfect for special occasions.

We both chose the 5 course prix fixe meal with wine pairing and sat outside on the patio since the weather was so perfect. She had the herbivore option and I had the omnivore . The plating and presentations rival any top Michelin rated restaurant in the county, uniquely creative and original. Our server was knowledgeable and clearly passionate about providing a first class dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning next time we’re vacationing in Charleston. Hats off to Chef Petrillo, in a word, Phenomenal!

A fantastic dining experience! The 3 course menu did not disappoint and was entirely filling, along with the additional small bites. Those were so inventive that we had to photograph each one! Our server was charming and very knowledgeable- she recommended a delicious white wine from Mt Etna. We shall be back.

Food was very tasty. But they have changed the menu to a limited prix fix menu. The least expensive option was 3 courses/$55. We were going to the Gaillard and had intended to just have a main course. Not Dessert .... too much food. My Friend and I split the bill. We each had one drink. My total with tip was over $90
Service was great, food was great but would like more options.

Such a unique and different experience compared to all the other High End Charleston restaurants. Food was amazing and wine recommendations were on point. Even though the menu changes frequently, hope the parmesan tortellini is still there because it was to die for.

My husband and I were there on a perfect Charleston evening so we ate outside in the beautiful, scenic, courtyard. Candlelight, tables spaced so each couple or small group had privacy. There were larger groups in one of the inside dining rooms. Another inside room also had a quiet romantic ambience. Drinks are served in an upstairs lounge or on an upstairs porch. All very elegant but comfortable.
Our meal was one of the most memorable we have ever had. We had the 5 course menu with wine pairings. Each course was more stunning, creative, and delicious than the next. We couldn't stop exclaiming about everything. Our server was great. She explained each item, could answer our questions about ingredients or techniques, and was knowledgeable about the wine pairings. The pace of service was perfect. She really enhanced the evening.
We will definitely come here again when we are back in town. Its worth making a special trip to come. It's very expensive but worth it if you love fine food and are an adventurous eater. It's one of our all time favorites.

This place really is special. From the beautiful building to the exceptionally prepared cuisine it's very difficult to top Zero. It's a tasting menu but also has a three course "option". Be prepared as it's pricey but it's also worth it if not an every week kind of establishment. Oh and don't worry... portion sizes are on the small side but you get so many you will definitely be full after!

Wasn't told that only a set menu would be offered due to a Gillard performance so looking at the menu ahead of time was very deceiving.
Should have been told we didn't want a three course meal
