Our server, Andrew, was absolutely fantastic. From his knowledge of the menu and drinks to his personality, he just made the entire experience wonderful! We will defiantly be back to visit and will be requesting his table!!
Went for brunch.... food was average and service was not great. They wanted to charge extra for jam for a biscuit. Not busy at all and took forever to get our drinks each time. Don’t get the drink with the popsicle in it... you will be disappointed.
Awesome, just awesome to be back at the bar.
Brunch menu was great - our food was delicious. The cocktail selection was really creative and the bartender made us a fabulous bourbon cocktail (bartenders’ choice). Fun place too!
They totally changed their menus and lost what made them eclectic and great. Very disappointed
We arrived & were greeted and seated by a nice gentleman. As he was getting our waters, another waitress saw us sitting outside & said "our kitchen closed at 10". I asked why allow a reservation to be made for 10pm if you know your kitchen is closed at 10? Why wouldn't the 1st person that seated us know that. Something was odd. We decided to leave, as they took the order from a neighboring table of white guest who just sat down before us. We sat outside & tables were not distanced but servers were at least wearing mask. Went to Link & Pin which is near by & it was fabulous.
Me my sister and brother and law are here Friday! Staff was incredible food was off the CHAIN! Both our server, hostess and bartender were phenomenal. I have already recommended to multiple people cheers!
Booked a reservation here for my boyfriend’s birthday. Got so many “confirm your reservation” messages, to all of which I did confirm. Got there at our reservation time and the place was closed. “New hours” that no one thought to update on OpenTable. Such a disappointment.
Andrew was our server and was amazing! Went over the menu and made recommendations! Food was also great!
Love the food here. Interesting dishes. They have a weak wine list however! There are lots of wine drinkers in Charlotte so a decent wine list is a must! Does not have to be a huge list but some key good middle of the road wine options would be nice. Otherwise love the atmosphere and food!
Great dining experience.
Food excellent, our server Jamie was awesome
Really enjoyed our food and craft cocktails...only negative was that our table was right next to a kiosk where servers would enter order and print out checks and it was very distracting but other than that, it was great!
LOVED THIS PLACE!
The flavors of every bite and every sip are amazing!
Plush seating and very interesting decor. Nice outdoor deck with seating and music. The food and cocktails were amazing!
Great, quick service. Lively and friendly staff. Fun drinks. The appetizers and sides were amazing!! I was disappointed to find the only non-meat entree was soft shelled crab. Would like to see a vegetarian entree, or at least a straight fish option.
Live music on the patio was such a nice surprise! The food was absolutely delicious and very creative. We also loved their cocktails! Overall a great date night!
This was my first trip here since Covid, let me first speak to this. They stated on Facebook they would be following all safety protocols including taking temps at door, they did not take temps, hostess walking around without mask, one female bartender wearing her mask around neck and never put mask on and was chewing gum( maybe that’s why she didn’t want mask on?) , I was seated at booth next to customer at next booth and tables on patio where definitely not 6 feet apart and following social distancing !
The food... I have dined here many times in the past, I can understand they had to change menu and limit what they offer, but this used to be a good foodie dinning experience, not any more!! It’s become a bar food type of offering and fine if that’s what they want to change to but make sure what you offer is good quality . I even ordered their signature bread pudding and that was crispy and over cooked and not moist, how can you mess up bread pudding?! I will not be making a trip back!
As always, terrific cocktails, great service, awesome food. Very friendly and courteous staff. Will definitely be back again.
It’s was great & all health protocols followed. The new menu was perfect. Highly recommended.
The cocktails were very good and the waitress gave us outstanding recommendations. Overall, the wait staff was stellar and very knowledgeable about the menu. Hushpuppies were a hit and the favorite of the entrees was the skillet chicken. Krispy Kreme bread pudding was a winner for dessert. Bonus - big bottle of hand sanitizer at the hostess stand! :) Dine out, but be safe! Love our local businesses.
The cocktails and atmosphere were very immersive and enjoyed the decor a lot. Would like to go back and get more food to sample more.
Although we asked for our order to be spaced out so that we could enjoy our evening, all 4 of our small plates came out within 5 minutes. We sent one back and asked that a new one be fired in a little while. When the new dish arrived, it was overcooked and hard; it made us wonder if they just put the first dish under a heat lamp or quickly reheated it. The other dishes were OK but overall not a very enjoyable evening.
We brought friends that wanted to try Zeppelin and they were so impressed with the menu and the drink menu. Food was fabulous!
This place is definitely more drink oriented than food. I suggest grabbing a bite before. The cocktails are well crafted and reasonably priced. The lighting is really sultry complimenting the cool atmosphere.
Food and drinks were great, service was also great. We ordered a lot of the small plates. They were mostly delicious, some were probably a little over priced for what you got. Krispy Kreme bread pudding was awesome without the lemon ice cream.
Best food I’ve had in Charlotte NC. Went there for dinner,
appetizers: PIG hush puppies were a 4/5, fried oysters were a 9/5 - never thought I’d say i like oysters but these are the only ones I’ll ever eat moving forward.
Entre: chorizo tacos on a blue corn shell 4/5 good flavors but a bit skimpy. I could’ve had one more and there could’ve been double tortillas like more authentic Mexican tacos but still delicious.
Dessert: krispy kreme bread pudding 10/5 I’m a huge bread pudding fan and this met all expectations and more. It’s served with a great citrus flavored ice cream to contrast flavors.
espresso essence (espresso with bourbon - very coffee forward. Delicious drink)
Old fashioned - good cocktail I requested suntory whiskey and it was done very well
Amazing bartender! Bearded dude with tattoos. 10/10 service.
Outstanding service with such creativity in the dishes we are already planning a return trip!
Went for Valentine’s. Price was $80 per person for 3 small dishes and a small desert on a set menu. We weren’t able to select anything off the regular menu, which was disappointing. The food we did had wasn’t bad, but very small portions. The server we had was very pleasant though. The atmosphere was also nice.
Took a very long time to place a drink order. Service was very slow. Food was OK. Not sure that I would go back.
Junk Food! not a place to eat. but if you do serve something get better options and better tasting. the world is progressing to less fried and junk
Amazing experience and amazing food
The feel of the restaurant is really chill but the food was so disappointing. I went with a group for restaurant week and was highly disappointed. The food was lacking in portion size and quality. There are plenty of other places to eat in Charlotte that are far superior at this price point.
It was quite average and overpriced for the food. Two pieces of fried chicken, a side of calamari and a salad should not cost $50. Far better places in Charlotte for southern fare at a much better price. The drinks there are great and would recommend that but for a full meal, I pass.
Zeppelin has great ambiance and creative cocktails, perfect if you’re looking for a classy bar. However, food wise, my burger was overcooked and stiff whereas my boyfriend’s hot chicken was not thoroughly cooked.
Food is good but over priced for what you get. A burger is $19 with no sides. Server didn’t explain the menu well. Wasn’t an awful experience but wouldn’t put it on the list of places to come back to.
