The food was absolutely delicious. This was a repeat visit and we ordered different items. The hummus is a favorite, loved the octopus, falafel, pide. We dined outside so the noise level was quieter than inside Highly recommend

Wonderful experience. Delicious food, courteous, professional, prompt staff, and very kindly accommodating requests. I had a reservation for three, then changed it to five people, and no problem. I asked the restaurant if I could bring a cake from The Cakeroom. And they accommodated that with a very modest cake-cutting fee, and presented the cake beautifully. I am glad we went to Zaytinya! Highly recommended!

We had high expectations that were not met. Despite having a reservation and having noted that this was for a special occasion (our anniversary), we were seated in what was objectively the worst table in the restaurant - right by the bathrooms, the kitchen entrance, and practically on top of another two top. I realize that we made the reservation earlier in the day, and that may have impacted our seating options, but to put us in this terrible table, right on top of another couple, was not the move. The space in question is not able to comfortably sit two two-tops. When we let the hostesses know we would just sit at the bar, they were passive aggressive and waved us over. Our bartender was lovely, but there was clearly some confusion about who was supposed to be helping us. For example, our dishes were never bussed - we had to move our own dishes aside when our next course came. We got the tasting menu, so this happened a lot. It was poorly timed and felt like our first dishes came out all at once and then we were waiting a long time to get the final courses. The food was fine, but nothing exciting. Nothing special was done for our anniversary - no one even mentioned it, despite the fact that we put it on our reservation. We weren't expecting to be comped for anything, but it would've been nice to have it acknowledged. All in all, our experience was not worth the money we spent. The service has dropped considerably since the last time I was here and I doubt I will return unless the menu is reinvigorated or they improve their service.

Favorite dishes were their versions of spanikopita, pita bread (free) and sishtawook. Fast service and great Mediterranean vibe. Limited dessert choices so passed

Some stuff was good, some stuff was fine. It was extremely loud in the restaurant. It was two people's birthdays which we'd demarcated in the reservation and this was not recognized. There was a rainstorm so I think staff and kitchen were overwhelmed.

Wonderful interesting and delightful food. Great service. Interesting cocktails. It’s a beautiful, happening place, but quite loud, so not the place for conversation
