Food was incredible, cocktails were excellent, and they did an amazing thing in bringing out a little dessert for my girlfriend’s birthday for a total surprise. Will absolutely be going back!
Zaytinya is a long standing favorite among me and my friends. This is the third time I’ve visited for restaurant week and they never disappoint!! I love the combination of fan favorites and newer dishes to try on the menu. It’s a good amount of food, just don’t let the bottomless pita fill you up before you get to course 3/4 (even though it’s so delicious)
The food was fantastic. The service was great as well. We were attended to but not interrupted. We all loved the breads which were never empty and sharing many small plates. Our favorites were the Octopus and the mushrooms but the crispy Brussels were amazing too. All in all a great meal and would definitely return.

Delicious as always. Love Restaurant Week and Zaytinya is my top choice. They go full out.
Excellent food, pleasant atmosphere, fast service.
Wine were not on its temperature (too hot). The octopus was extremely citric, and the puree watery.
The cheeses were much sweet.
Too expensive for the food you offer.

Amazing! We ordered from Restaurant week lunch menu and ordered one of each dish. 14 dishes in total and entire table loved all of them. Well done and only cost $100 before drinks.
Great experience, loved the food! We were they’re with our kids (3 and 4) and they gave us a private booth, which was very nice.
Restaurant week menu was great and offered many choices and a good price. It was very busy and very cold. We sat outside and the heat lamps initially didn’t work and then just weren’t enough when they were finally fixed. Our server seemed stretched thin too and was hardly ever available.
On a Saturday night during restaurant week the place was packed. We had a reservation so we were seated relatively quickly. Considering the crowd, the service was very attentive. The food was delicious and the wine choices were plentiful enough.
It was very noisy in the area where we were seated. The music was quite loud. Our table was between the kitchen and the main corridor where wait staff and servers walk to get to outdoor tables. It was quite cold where we were seated inside, and I wore my coat for most of the evening. The food was good, but we were anxious to get away from the cold and noise, had our food been delivered sooner.
It was under 30 degrees but the made the outdoor patio very inviting and warm.
Great dining experience. However on the restaurant week there was only one vegetarian entrée.
The food was served in mezze/tapas form (small portions meant to share). We ordered about 5 dishes for 2 people and they were all fantastic and filled us up. We sat in the outside seating in freezing temperature which was the only drawback. They did their best to keep everyone warm with heaters, but it was still quite cold
Been to restaurant before but came back during restaurant week. Great deal and food was really good. Food came out very quick (assuming they have large batches ready to go of restaurant week item) and it did feel like we were being rushed a little. Sat outside on a cold night but the heaters they had did keep us mostly warm.
Excellent food, excellent service. A lot of people, which is great to see, but felt a little too crowded during a COVID Surge
Food was just ok. Hummus wasn’t as good as I remember and the salmon was over cooked.

In town for a conference and lucked out with it being restaurant week. Amazing choices on the RW menu, with each item being as good as the next. The piyaz was perhaps my favorite, and the apricot yogurt dessert was a delightful surprise. Go!
Small issues: The service seemed a little green, & the cava was a tad flat. Great food & service- I know it’s DC, but you don’t need to buy into the need for speed. Don’t rush away with diners’ food. Otherwise, please carry on the great work.
Even on a drizzly winter night, their heaters kept us warm and our servers kept bread coming throughout the meal. Zaytinya is a favorite for a reason!

Zaytinya was terrific in all respects, as always! The smoky baba ganough and crispy brussel sprouts were particular standouts. The greek yogurt dessert with apricot was a pleasant surprise of flavors.

I went for restaurant week and was very pleased with the lunch menu. We split the hommus and baba ganoush to begin with and enjoyed each and thought the fresh pita made it a great way to start the meal. For the second course we selected the moroccan chicken and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts stole the show and are an absolute must-try! Next, we shared the meatballs and chicken shish skewers both were delicious but we both think the chicken was a just a bit better. To finish we both enjoyed the olive oil cake! The portions were the perfect size to share

The food here is reliably tasty. We did a restaurant week special and could not finish it all! Some options were delicious, others were solid but pleased us less. That’ll happen with any fixed menu, of course. Overall - happy we went!
We had the restaurant week lunch and we had to ask for our check 3x, but otherwise it was all very good.
