   Wonderful evening. Very loud and hard to have table conversation, but food was amazing and staff was great!

   I’ve arrived to the restaurant on time and waited in line to be admitted by the host. By the time it was turn I was told my table is no longer available as I’ve arrived over 15 minutes late which isn’t true since I arrived on time and had to wait to be admitted by. After arguing with the host I was seated in a bad spot which I didn’t like even though there were other tables available (still available when I finished dining). The food itself was mediocre and definitely not worth the cost. Ordered the eggplant pide which I found unbalanced and the scallops which were bland.

   As always the food was fantastic, the drinks were well made and the service was professional and prompted

   We reached a bit early for our reservation but there was ‘nothing available’; that’s understandable. How we were seated 20 minutes later is harder to understand. There were several table open with reserved placards displayed. What is the point of our reservation then? The server didn’t arrive another 15 minutes later after we were seated. We love Jose Andres, but this time around was a bit off-putting!

   One of my favorite places in DC. The staff is friendly and attentive staff. Food is delicious and prepared well (I mean, how do they get their pita so pillowy??)

   Any day, every day: my go-to, never-fail dining experience! This time i got to introduce my sister to Zaytinya and she was completely delighted! She talked about it the rest of the day, an instant memory made!

   As we arrived at the restaurant, we had to wait 4 minutes to recognize by the girl who was working as a host. One other guy was on the phone the whole time. The girl came around at least 3 times at the desk while we were waiting one feet away from the desk and never had an eye contact or said hello to us. At one point, I had to approach her to get her attention. We were watching her fixing chair and table or talking to other people without an eye contact with us. There wasn’t anybody else on the line with us. Very unusual. We were disappointed!! Food was excellent and the price was reasonable. We had booking for 2 people for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner.

   Everyone at our table of 5 enjoyed the tasting menu. The mezze was very tasty and the texture was delightful. This course was enough for a meal by itself. The next course included many dishes that included shrimp, salmon, chicken and beef. One again, the flavors were wonderful, but the chicken and beef were the highlights for us. They were cooked just right, full of tenderness and juices. The shrimp and salmon were slightly overdone for us. The service was good but it would have been great if they told us about the different dishes in the testing menu. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday night. It was loud and the music was thumping, which made it a very festive.

    First time to restaurant and very pleased. Dinner was delicious and different. The service was excellent but there were not enough workers on staff for a restaurant as large as this. There were periods of time where no one was around to assist. This is not the servers fault but management needing to staff more people. The noise level was a bit too loud for my liking. Honestly, just eliminate the music- one coukd not hear it and all and people had to shout at one another across a table to be heard. Noise and staffing aside, the food was fantastic and I definitely plan to return
